I'd probably sit Miller this week, just to be on the safe side.

Fortunately, we've got some solid HB options to work with.

Definitely not good news on Coleman, but the injury happened in practice and not against WCU. I really think that once Exum is cleared, he should still sit out 2-or-so-weeks to be on the safe side. Then again, I'm not an athletic trainer nor a physician. I really want him to finish on a high note with the Hokies, and to move on to better things in the Pros.

Glass Joe..funny.

was slow to adjust to the speed of the game

If he was already in the game at RT, does that mean he was slow changing between position requirements or that he is just in general slow?

I am 100% #TeamYankeeSauce What is it, I have no idea, ketchup, catsup, blood, cigarette ash? May be a combination of all that. Even though I lived, from the ages of 3-6 near Green-Town, Carolina, I don't remember any bbq that wasn't mushed up w/ peas and carrots or was frozen. I know nothing about bbq and I don't know good from bad. In Pittsburgh, bbq meant fries and cole slaw over grade B quality cold cuts. Now I'm in Seattle. There is some bbq smoker in a gas station parking lot near the airport. I stopped there once and got one of everything. And everything tasted bad so I am guessing that is not good bbq or I just really don't like good bbq. There is also Hawaiian bbq here, no plans to try it. I have had bbq in TX a couple times. Achievement Unlocked? Nope, according to last week's foerensics, bbq in TX is not bbq. The bbq turkey was good regardless.

Anyway I love the Foerensics. The Somali alumni doing the wave is brilliant. I only hope there are pre-sharpshooters in the VT Navy Corp of Cadets that could take them out, duck hunt style, I'm Your Worst Nightmare - Maersk Alabama". Playing ECU is nightmare, either for them or us or both.

And it's aTm week. Saban got pissed and walked out of his press conference today because of all the questions... I'm not saying it's some conspiracy, but this story dropped at a convenient time.

I saw Luke Bryan do an Enter Sandman cover/encore at the Greenbrier Classic. Needless to say all the Hokies around us started jumping as WVU fans gave us weird looks lol.

UCLA at Nebraska -4.5 - Going with UCLA here. Like where they're at.

VT -7.5 at ECU - Hoping that our offense starts clicking a bit this week. Going with the Fighting Sam Rogers

Tennessee at Oregon -27.5 - I'm gonna look stupid if I'm wrong, genius if I'm right....I think Tennessee can cover.

Alabama -7.5 at Texas A&M - Johnny Football gets what's coming to him. Tide Rolls (see what I did there??)

Ole Miss at Texas -2.5 - LOLOLOLOLOLOLonghorns. Ole Miss covers and quite easily I may add.

Wiscy at Arizona State -5.5 - Gotta go with Wisconsin here. I don't know why but sure. But why I didn't go to ASU, I'll never know *drools*

I am terrible at this so far... I blame the time difference.

Drinking some Schwaben Brau volkfest. Starting to miss American and Japanese craft brews...

What people are forgetting is that Alabama is still under a 5 year "Repeat Offender" window and if they do get punished, its going to be even worse than you would expect. The window doesn't expire until July 2014.

The NCAA praised Alabama for its thorough internal investigation and yet stung the school in its report, calling it a "serial repeat offender," saying its infractions track record was "abysmal" and suggesting that its "appalling and unprecedented" recent infractions history was "unmatched by any other member institution in the NCAA."

I believe Grimes' Auburn contract is now up and Tech is paying his full salary now. Loeffler's is through next June. Then VT picks up the full tab.

Here's what I wrote about it when they got hired:

The new staffs eventual yearly salaries will be as follows: Loeffler $400K, Grimes $265K, Moorehead $150K. Grimes and Loeffler are also both eligible for $50,000 retention bonuses on Jan. 1, 2015. Bryan Stinespring, who was stripped of his offensive coordinator duties and will now be recruiting coordinator, had his salary readjusted from $364K to $300K.

Now, Loeffler will be paid $150,000 per year through June 30, 2014, and Grimes will be paid the same through June 30, 2013 (prorated amounts for partial years). Thats because their previous stop, Auburn, owes them the difference from their new salary to their old one through the life of their contracts with the Tigers. Loeffler made $500K at Auburn and Grimes $400K. So Auburn has to make up the difference there, which is a pretty good chunk of change. To put the salaries in perspective, Bud Foster makes roughly $500K as defensive coordinator.

My friends from North Carolina refer to East Carolina as 'EZ U.'

Also, this seems to be floating around the interwebs today and it seems appropriate.

I'm just excited that I have remembered to do this 3 weeks in a row, but I'm sure that my record is awful! Oh,well here are another terrible 6 picks!

The UCLABruins on the road pull the upset
VT struggles, but gets a narrow win ECU
Tennessee keeps it within 4 touchdowns to beat the spread
Alabama No further comment needed
Ole Miss I would take anyone over that steaming pile of Bevo dung
Arizona State girls are very attractive and will distract Wisconsin's team on the road

I'm seeing 27-17 Hokies.

Calling a LT 50+ yd TD run up the middle ala Miami game last year.

Hockey is without a doubt the most difficult sport in the world. I love it. The atmosphere at College football games tops hockey games without a doubt. But hockey is freaking awesome.

I'm looking for Ke. Fuller to get his first pick 6. He's been around the football so much, it's just a matter of when.

I'd love to see him pop off a few big runs early to get them worried, setting up either some outside run plays or some triangles for the passing game.
