I tell my Pop Warner players, If you dont give your best effort on every play, then we will find someone who will. Give me a player with heart and desire over one with just talent every day. Stanford, Meyers, and Caleb all need to be given nods. A clear message needs to be sent.

I will discuss it more in the film review, but I envision Caleb as the next option at the true tailback if Edmunds gets hurt, with Coleman aligned as the slot back motion guy that was acting as the pitch man Saturday. Frankly, I was disappointed that they used Coles and byrn in that role instead of Mangus, but I guess they wanted to keep Mangus upright in case Edmunds was hurt.

If they have a bit of brain power, Coleman will sit this week as well and get the ankle right. Assuming VT can get up big early, expect Mangus and Caleb to get a bunch of work.

Absolutely inexcusable.

However, those are fixable errors that Moorehead vowed he will work on. I am truly happy to have someone like Moorehead with professional attention to details. So glad that Pep recommended him to Beamer who hired him.

It is a good read. Makes me look at Logan more optimistically, but I still have a hard time with the overall passing game performance. This explains why.

If you watch the Premier League, you'll see that the fans sit the whole game, too. I've heard it's regarded over there as courteous so that the people behind you don't have a problem seeing. Either way. Might be why they do it.

I have a feeling DJ Coles and Demitri are not going to like this upcoming week of practices

Also not french, and I haven't seen him, but I think it's pretty tough for us that we appear to have JC, Mangus, Caleb, and Edmunds in at RB but not a whole lot at WR. I'd think with this lack of balance, we're going to end up going to a lot of two-back sets and rolling RBs out of the backfield. It would mean a lot of short passes (#throwAllTheScreens) but it might be the safest and most reliable way to get ball off the turf and into the hands of a playmaker.

I have to imagine that a cake made out of rainbows would be delicious.

Harold is starting. But it's for LOLUVA. Ekanem is sitting because, well... #DepthAtDTAtVT

Maybe I should stay away from hashtags

Perfectly reasonable.

I agree that Frank needs to let loose a little and make the WCU game one in which we get creative, have fun, work fundamentals, and build confidence. I hope we put them far enough away early that we can get some of the young guys and back ups some valuable snaps.

sorry wasnt trying to argue just adding my thoughts

This is an important point. Remember the forum topic last week where the Alabama-fan author suggested that Gayle was going to be double teamed with a TE and, as a result, the tackles vs ends competition would favor Alabama? They were exactly right that Gayle needed to be double teamed, but they turned out incorrect on who it benefitted.

I didn't even think of Kendall to WR, this is an interesting idea. He played some of it in high school, if I remember correctly. With the rotation of Ky, Ke, Tone, Bonner, and Jarrett in the secondary, we should always have a good starting 4 on the field. With Tone back, I could see him shifting to FS if Jarrett ever needs a spell, with Ky and Ke as the CBs.

I wouldn't be opposed to seeing Ke at WR, but as other posters suggest, maybe it would be best to give him a consistent set of responsibilities (ie playing only one position) while he is still young. We already know Tone can play safety and Ky can play whip, and with RVD out, I'd be very happy to see the grouping of Ky, Ke, Tone, and Jarrett (in particular) on the field at any time. Nice call on this question, 757, it's an interesting idea.

working on editting. on my phone as apparently internet is down in the area where gf lives....

Agreed. Great breakdown, just a bit hard to read. Thanks for posting; I was hoping to have some time to go back through the replay myself to find these things, but this saves me the time!

Not sure it's possible with the block quote, but if so, I'd recommend you go in and edit this post to put some line breaks between each play to make it more readable. I saw this over at 247 also, and highly recommend everyone read it. Don't know anything about Shabutie, but if he is to be trusted, it's a really good breakdown of all the pass attempts.

While I agree that would be nice, you're asking this kid to change positions for a third time in four years, right before the draft this time. That's a lot to ask of someone who's already been a team player like Exum.

Either way, too many good players in our secondary is definitely one of those good problems to have, especially given the recent transfers.

Do we start pulling for Miami? *retch*
