Recruiting is getting so personal recently, jeez. I don't see the parallel with Drew Harris, though. All along, Harris was 100% pro-VT, but he didn't have the grades to qualify. Simple issue at the NCAA level. It's too bad, but that's how it goes sometimes.
I don't understand the criticism of Nnadi. We've known all along that he wants to take his official visits. He's not stringing us along at all, just taking his time to make a very important decision.
I can see why everyone was so let down with Da'Shawn Hand, given he seemed to be very high on VT before dropping us, but that happened a long time ago and it gives us plenty of time to target other recruits. That I can respect.
Just remember, these are kids. They are being sold all kinds of glory stories from lots of schools. I probably would have been pretty overwhelmed by it, myself. Kids that are 16 and 17 years old (hell, recruiting is even starting around eighth grade now for some) are going to make mistakes, say things they don't mean, and change their minds. After posting this, someone asked Ricky if VT has pissed him off and he laughed and said no. That doesn't mean we don't have a shot with him and it doesn't mean we should be anything less than thrilled if he does pick us.
Yeah, thats a crock of bs...Saban suspending guys from PRACTICE, but then letting them play in the game. Who cares...let Geno play...he aint' that good anyway!
Maybe he will be drunk and fall down on a deep out to Knowles...
QBs generally don't have time to set their feet during a scramble drill. Throwing on the run is not necessarily a bad thing, and IMO looks like it was the right decision by Thomas. The INT seemed to be more of a combination of a bad play/effort by Stanford and an incredible play by Facyson than a bad throw from Thomas.
Maybe, maybe not. Now, so long as he doesn't have to PASS said test, then yes, he'll be good to go.
That's an insult to crack heads. Shame on you.
I thought this kid was all ready had his bags packed with VT in mapquest what happened?
Mama Giraffe loves us; she really does love us.......
In psychology, the salient term is 'cognitive dissonance.' When one's closely held beliefs are in conflict with reality, or other beliefs or experiences.
In other words, on the inside the typical UVA'er thinks 'I am a Wahoo, therefore, I must be better than a Hokie at everything.'
But then 38-0 comes raining down, or even worse still being beaten 17-14 by the worst Hokie football team in 2 decades, and it creates conflict: In reality, they SUCK at football, but in their minds, they are conflicted now because that can't be true.....so rather than change the internal belief to 'Wow, we SUCK,' they start rationalizing with excuses.....
It's kinda like when I used to beat up my kid brother all of the time, and my parents had to try and point out some of his good qualities to make him feel better.....
It's actually quite entertaining.
This guy is on crack.
Was your Coach Gregg Williams?
Maurice Taylor. He is a walk on who is 5th (behind Edmunds, Caleb, Mangus, and Dyer.) it was a nice run.
Opening this recruiting process back up. No more top5 all schools have a free shot.— Ricky Lake ! (@RickGoGetEmWalk) August 18, 2013
not sure what to think of that...
.
I'd assume Maurice Taylor based on Bitters blogs about the practice and he doesnt have a number listed in hokiesports. (Official #32 is OLB Josh Trimble)
Oh wow... just wow.

And the best part...look who is providing the quote.
Nope...not Reece Davis...
Keep adding minors, then you'll always have at least 1-2 more years!
To those of you on here that are students. Get in the ears of your peers this year. The student section has been getting into some bad habits as of late
Jim weaver is such an ass clown.

Somehow I only have 1 year left. Where the hell did the time go?
This is why #38-0 was the sweetest victory of the past nine years. UVa comes in to play for the Coastal, thinking they finally have a chance. Their fans were relentless that it was their year, non-stop trash talking outside of Scott. We walk inside and did just as my old coach would say: "Step on their necks, and don't you dare let up."
The players used the whole respect thing for motivation last time at Scott, we need to do it again. UVa makes those stupid countdowns and talks shit every year like this, and they don't respect us or our players.
Saben will suspend him from practice like the other starter on defense. I think it was one of the backers..1week suspended from summer camp.
Agree completely about Logan's pass protection. He had more then enough time to make plays with his arm, especially up the middle.
Don't worry. I'm sure he'll be back by the 1st quarter; he's in the SEC.
fixed above

Yeah...it gets pretty old. Of course, he has a right to do whatever he wants, but come on, show some respect for all the love the Hokies are giving you. He just wants some free trips and if he "opens it back up" he can get some more attention from a bunch of schools.
