Behing Stanford, Logan looked at Duan Perez Means several times. He was targeting Means on the second INT. He missed DPM high on a seam route, and then sailed a throw way wide on a drag across the back of the end zone where DPM appeared to be open.
One of the things I am reading in the reviews is that the pass protection was bad. It was terrible by the second group, but there were only three by my count given up by the first group. One was a blitz bust (I didn't catch the running back) where Bonner came untouched. The second was Gayle beating Gibson, with Dadi coming from the other side but getting there after Gayle arrived. The final one came from Collins bullrushing McLaughlin but the whistle didn't blow on contact.
I really didn't think Logan was "under seige" ala the Rutgers game. He looked uncomfortable several times where there really wasn't much pressure. The three guys on the interior (Farris, Wang, and Miller) were servicable and did not have any plays where they were whipped or failed to pick up a stunt.

Too true. I spent 10 years at VT. Finished undergrad, stayed for grad school, then stuck around to work a year. It still wasn't enough and I can't wait to visit sometime soon.
We've (Liberty) had at least a share of the Big South Title for about 5 years now Including a 3-way tie last year. We dropped off in nonconference play a bit in 2012, but considering that we were breaking in a new coaching staff, only lost to Wake by a touchdown in his first game, I'm not too disapointed. I expect us to win the Big South outright this year and do much better in non-conference.

I didn't have a printed copy of the roster and mistook Byrn for Meyer on a couple of occasions. He had a chance to make a play, and while Kendall defintely got into his path, that is a catch which you hope a DI receiver can make. Moorehead seethed over that drop, and then when Carlis Parker belly flopped for the ball down the right sideline, he went ballistic. Let's just say I never heard the word "whip."
Get involved in lots of extracurricular activities, and you'll meet some great new friends in no time. Also, enjoy the great outdoors lifestyle in and around Tech.

Yeah, with reports like this, not hard to see why Facyson and Ken Fuller are praised like they are. The defense must shake Bama's confidence early, and keep hammering away.

I am so hype for the D-Line this season. Dadi and Tyrel give us 4 solid ends, and if Harley and Marshall can both step up, the tackles will be beasts as well. Good to hear JR killed it today.
That sounds like a more than mediocre offense. But I've become used to that. Were the tight ends involved at all? And did we actually use a fullback at any point?

He'd be far from the first. There are some people that have made some really bad remarks that have been downvoted to the point of being banned. I think there are just a few things at play here:
1. We don't want TKP to turn into a troll site where people prank each other and post pointless stuff.
2. As VT fans after a bad year with a lot of uncertainty, we're all on edge a bit, so we're hoping for any news. "Breaking news" has gone badly for us in a number of instances this offseason, so it's a really bad title.
I'm not going to downvote anyone for this, but it really sucked when I saw it. I agree with the underlying sentiment, but the attention-grabber was not the way to go about it...
