I have heard that Ohio State is in the same situation as Virginia Tech.

So, can Ohio State and Virginia Tech play in a bowl game sponsored by Medicaid?

I'm thinking it would have been really nice for Holland Fisher to have qualified this year about now.

Let me preface this by saying i have no idea what Buds going to do at whip. I have known Dinardo since he was a kid and he has one of the highest football IQs I have ever been around. He is the son of a coach and will never back down from anything. Is he RVD? No. Does he have his limitations? Yes. But from a personal experience if there's one person I want on my side when shit hits the fan it's him. He's the type of guy hokie football was built around.

Have the coaches purchased bubble wrap in bulk for the remaining practices?

12:43: Even more than that. Theyre all in those giant Bubble Boy bubbles. I actually think its be a great evolution for football.

As much as I loved watching American Gladiators as a kid, this is football, not Atlasphere

Atlasphere

Hokie Nation has had to over come much more then this "Immortal" Alabama team we face on Aug 31st. Remember this season?

Our boys are working hard right now to prepare for Bama. Hold the faith and believe!

Hokies!

Cartwheels were performed by Bud when Wyatt committed to play for us (I think).

They may move him back out to WR if JC gets back in time for Bama and I would think almost certainly after Joel Caleb has served his suspension.

If they can prove that injuries played a large part in him not playing his original redshirt year, then yes. If he was redshirted for other reasons and was never injured, then no.

What is going on here? Did Nnadi just committ to VT or something?

Because of the money gesture or the... ahem, "Ace and Gary" style bump celebration at the beginning?

Yea, most likely he will be on the Dline and doesn't have the same game mindset a whip should have, but I agree with at least just a few reps to see how he does. I don't think it would hurt too much. I feel confident with Collins starting if Dadi doesn't anyways. No harm in trying to see what else he can do. Although, I do think Dadi stays on the Dline and if not starting, the two of them share a lot of playing time.

I edited my post way above so if it got lost, here is the update:

The board will be finished and fired up for the first time on Monday Aug 19. Testing will be done all throughout the week. Considering it looks like they still have work to be done, they will probably be working through the weekend to get this done as this is the date Panasonic has set apparently.

I'm surprised they haven't thought about moving Ken Ekanem to linebacker. He played a lot of that in high school.

I believe if you have 2 season ending injuries that allows you to apply for a medical hardship waiver. But I don't know for certain.

Walk on whip and drafted as a safety. Kyle was a 3* CB I believe, but based on his skill set will also be drafted as a safety.

Given that Sam Rogers has been mentioned, I thought I'd mention one other FB to Whip possibility. Griffin Hite spent his true Freshman year at LB on the scout team before moving to FB the following Spring. I think he was a MIKE/Backer but he has a little bit of experience on the defensive side at the college level and he doesn't seem to be in the FB competition to the degree that Rogers is.

Another option I haven't heard mentioned is Chase Williams. Pros are that he's a R-Jr and knows the defense, almost avoided a redshirt, is already in the 2 deep at LB, and from all I've heard has the intelligence for the position. Cons would be that he's probably a little slow for Whip and it would be a position change.

At the moment Josh Trimble is listed first on Hokies Sports, followed by Derek DiNardo and Quinton Taylor.

What about JR Collins at whip and Dadi can start where we know he's good at DE?
