I was at the Bama game in 2009 and had two bad experiences with their fans. We were tailgating and then a car of Bama fans parks next to us. First guy that gets out of the car looks at us and says "How y'all going to win with a n-word quarterback". My friend, who is a 6'5" 300+ pound black guy, immediately confronted him and before things escalated the Bama fans were driving away. Then later on that day I was walking with this same guy and two Bama fans passed us. They were at most all of a foot past us when we heard one of say to the other "that was the biggest n-word I have ever seen".
I realize that not all Bama fans would say things like that but I've never heard anything like that from any other school's fans.
I got heckled by a carnie who was a bama fan and every bama fan I've ever come into contact with have been complete dumbfucks from high school or incredibly overzealous about their team and not willing to talk about yours, they don't even let you talk about your team that's what I hate most about them, I openly root against the sec I'd rather see USC win or the big 12 or ANYONE win over the sec (not named uva of course) but I can't wait until their conference goes down the shitter fuck carnies and fuck community college/high school dropouts

Nobody really ever wants to go to Las Cruces. I've guess you've heard the saying, "El Paso is the A-hole of the earth, Las Cruces is 60 miles up it."
Hence, why I'd say the best revenge would be a win in the NCAA Men's Bball tournament. But, I'd be up for putting KU on the schedule instead of ECU, Marshall, or other similar caliber school.
I didn't realize UMD had fans... wait are we talking about Basketball?
Ahhhh. Of course. I guess I have never seen his last name used without his first name! Duh.
That's a good sign, I think. I hear he is a playmaker with the ball in his hands! I hope he can pick up the position quickly.
I'd like to hear updates on Newsome (Deon, not Curt!) and David Prince at WR. I could see one of those two playing. The first 3 (Knowles, Stanford, Meyer) feel good at WR with Coles playing some hybrid role. But depth after that.....wow..... Lots of bodies, somebody has to step up. Irick, Smiling, Parker, Mangus, Byrn, Newsome, Prince....somebody has to step up.
I'm glad to see the coaches shifting guys around. Hopefully they'll find the best players for each position by doing so. I guess experimenting with positions is probably fairly common early in camp, yes?
Carlis Parker, started summer camp at 4th string. High school QB, I believe.
Parker?
Amen.
You should just respond:
"The key to your mom's bedroom!"
Always works for me.
That reminds me of a time when a friend of mine used that on a UVA girl in Charlottesville after we beat them in 1995. The girl yelled back, "You Mother F*%$er!".....to which my friend responded "I wouldn't have to if you kept her off the streets at night!!" CLASSIC
Never fear, as I'm heading to the ATL and have yet to see an away/neutral site loss in person (knocks on wood)
Temple 2003 - WIN (Almost an L, luckily their kicker was horrible)
UNC 2006 - WIN
Duke 2007 - WIN
ACCCG 2010 - WIN
EDIT - Unfortunately I misremembered. I was present for the Boise State game. I must have blocked it out of my memory due to that game a few days later. I guess 4-1 still isn't too bad...

....or that...yeesh!
I think they're planning to use one or the other more depending on the situation, but want either to be able to play pass or run regardless of the situation. So if a team comes out with spread personnel and shifts/motions into a running formation, Fuller would still be competent to play vs the run and if they move from running to spread, RVD can still play vs. the pass.
Upvote for Lombardi quote!
It seems to be getting more apparent that this will be an SEC team.
I guess its good for us that he watched 30 for 30 instead of Miracle. At least this way he didn't learn how to coach or motivate guys to win.
It was basically all of us watching it, and telling all the other guys to check it out, Harold said of the documentary. All those guys from Florida were staying home and winning championships. It dawned on us that, We can do this, too.
I guess no one wants to bring in the reality that this can't happen because all the kids that actually want to win go to Tech, where they "flash" silly things like, winning seasons, bowl wins, #1 defenses, a rabid fanbase, etc...
I actually had good experiences with both LSU and A&M back when we played them in the burg in the early 2000s. Granted we won both games....
My parents always warned me about drinking the Kool-Aid...
Agreed. Buffalo, Jacksonville, Oakland and KC are the top four in my mind. And then you have some possibilities like Arizona or maybe Cleveland (depending on how 84 year old Brandon Weeden works out) in the near term.
During the off-season I was clamoring for Philly to make a trade with Baltimore for Tyrod (though I doubt Ozzie would have made such a deal) because I feel that he would be a good fit for Chip Kelly's offense, but they decided to sign Dennis Dixon and his bionic knees and draft Matt Barkley. I guess Chip is still trying to figure out what might work best, as they have two pro-style QB's and two dual-threat QB's in camp realistically vying for spots.
well, there's always this...

Best: Clemson and NC State. Both were welcoming, fun, and wanted to play drinking games. Clemson was very polite after giving us a schlacking (twice).
Worst: Michigan. All the fans I met at the Sugar Bowl were assholes. All they talked about was how we didn't deserve a BCS bid that year (which is definitely arguable, however, if we didn't, UM sure as hell didn't). Then after 'beating' us, they proceeded to brag and talk about how good their team was... I had never routed so hard for a an SEC team to win as I did in last years Bama/UM game.
