the nuggets signed nate robinson to a one year deal. they still own erick's rights, he needs to keep working at his pg play.

I was originally planning on just driving in and tailgating, but then realized there's that whole parking pass thing, and that whole driving home thing.

a) Do I have to buy a parking pass in advance? If so where?

b) Is it possible to just pay when I get there? How much am I looking at, what time will gates open, and what time do I have to get there if I want to get a parking space?

c) In the event I'm too inebriated after the game to drive home, can I leave my car there overnight?

Sounds like you and OP will have enough people to play a full two hand touch game saturday morning.

A motivator or a reminder of failure? When they forget about all the games in between will they really be better off?

I can't hate on teams that beat us because they were just better. I hate on teams that deserve it based upon dirty play, trashy fans, asshole players, and dirtbag coaches. I hate teams that have earned it by pissing me off for whatever reason, not who just beat us. Them being better than us is on us for not being good enough. I guess that's why I don't really hold any ill will towards Clemson - Dabo pisses me off sometimes, but their fans I've encountered are all nice.

I am interested in the effect wins & losses have on the image of the ACC. I root for bottom tier ACC schools to beat OOC opponents or at least look competitive. I want VT to be seen as better than all the other ACC schools so sometimes I don't want the top tier ACC schools to win. In bowl games I want the ACC to win every game. Root against ND. Would only change if they became full ACC member. Uva depends on who they are playing. It is a delicate balance.

injuries could result in players who are not his first choices being needed to contribute. He needs everyone fighting for jobs on the field, and fully engaged in the classroom while he installs the full offensive blocking scheme.

This...
Can't underestimate the psychological effect of letting the boys compete for a realistic shot at the job.
That said, lets whittle it down and get the 1s and the 1.5s most of the first team reps to build that chemistry.

I stick to the Doctor (Pepper, that is) before games. I like to enjoy the game. I've also discovered a link between my alcohol consumption and the play of our football team. Drunk me = Boise State in 2010, Clemson in 2011, and the Sugar Bowl.

You can buy beer, wine, and bitch beer in grocery stores. The grocery stores here in Augusta sell cases. Liquor is available at a package store. And alcohol sales start at noon on Sundays.

I didn't take the news well and had to vent. I sent the below email to my Bama co-workers. Now I feel a little better.

Subject: Dr. Andrew's is a filthy liar
Bama fans,
Dont think I am not seeing through this mans game clearly. He is twisted and just as corrupt as everything else that is Bama. Telling Exum, our DB with a torn ACL (if it is even really torn HA!) that he will not be ready come Aug 31st for the game vs Bama. Hes afraid, thats whats really going on. He knows that if Exum plays he will completely shut Cooper down and give VT a big advantage, and just like every other Bama fan with a little power, or influence, he is exploiting it, horribly. Exum worked his tail off and is ready to go. Like a super hero, he didnt let the assumed torn ACL keep him down. And Dr. Andrews, like the super villain he is, throws kryptonite on the whole situation telling him 1.5 to 2 more months. How convenient. What a horrible person.
All right, Im done, enjoy the rest of your day.

Good look, french.

A few years ago, Alabama played Clemson to start the season (with CJ Spiller and James Davis running the ball). I had a pick'em at my office and everyone else went with Clemson, while I chose Alabama. Everyone thought I was crazy, but they had graduated, I think, four starting offensive linemen the year before and continued to shuffle their guys up until a week or two prior to the game. Different from us, as some of our guys have starting experience prior to this season, but still concerning.

In case you don't recall, Alabama went up 21-0, won 34-10, and Davis/Spiller were held to zero yards. I don't want to be too much of a pessimist, but Coleman/Edmunds haven't proven to be Davis/Spiller and we're also shuffling the line.

Hopefully the girls in STATS are as easy as the class was! budum kssshhhh

We live in GA, so we're driving down Saturday. Tailgating with some of my sorority sisters. Driving home Sunday.

If anyone wants to tailgate without the effort, there's a great bar called Taco Mac about a block from the GeorgiaDome. This location is huge, and they have over a hundred beers on tap and bottled.

I hate Clemson just because we've dropped 3 straight to them and it's high time that changed. I was eating lunch at a hoity toity country club place with my grandparents once and some girls from Duke were sitting at the next table. The arrogant entitled filth (not to mention lameass VT would you like fries with that jokes) I overheard coming out of their mouths allowed me to build up an eternal well of hatred for them. Fuck Miami because look at them. If you're not a fan they're just eminently hate-able. Same goes for Florida State, although a lot of that comes from losing the MNC.

It's comforting that he says the younger DT's are great players. Says something about our depth there.

I'll be heading down Friday night, going to the Atlanta Hokie Alumni Association and Hokie Club's tailgate for pre-game, and then maybe catch a Braves game Sunday. Post-game arrangements are based upon the outcome of the game.

I dont have classes friday so thats when i'm heading down with 11 other people. We are all cramming into 2 rooms in the Holiday inn capital conference center which is about a mile from the stadium. Friday night is my friends 21st, then an early wake up saturday to tailgate in the yellow lot. And then of course post game celebrations

And, because everyone from Atlanta seems to really be pushing it, we'll be going to STATS at some point.
