Army/Navy game. Honestly only game I've been to besides tech games. It is a pretty awesome experience to see the academies face off even though it tends to be lopsided.
Also, made the trip to Pittsburgh for the game last year and Heinz field is pretty cool. Definitely made the trip worth it even if the result sucked.

wow.....soooo not funny!

Maybe Reavis recruited a 5 star for us at The Opening....lol...wishful thinking!

Thats definitely it...This is big news! A new Spirit squad leader is EXACTLY what will lead us back to the top in football!

I wish I knew ,but they know and maybe him and reavis are on to something????

Kenny...."Huge News!!!" ...Come on. Well any guesses. We have July camp coming up this weekend right? Nnadi is suppose to be attending. I am hoping it is him.

My guess of Jim Druckenmiller and Greg Boone was WAY off...

AMB, go if you can. I've been to a few NFL games and I've had fun at every one. Granted, it's nothing like LANE but it's still awesome to see the best athletes in the world live. I went to the Pats-Ravens game last year (regular season, not AFC Champ) and it was a great time, even though we lost and I got heckled a few times. My seats were great though (picture below), so maybe that matters. Already got tickets to go back this year for the Sunday Night showdown week 16.

Those two, possibly Kendal Fuller when he gets here, Tony Gregory is also a possibility.

Our situation may be unique to us. I don't think there's another program out there with the storied success we've had while lacking a national championship and/or those signature recent wins.

Can't compare us to those schools though. Like I've said before, our coaching staff has a long resume for these recruits to see and analyze. While there has been a lot of success, the accompanying lack of major success (championships, big wins, ooc wins, bcs bowls, etc) are serious red flags that hurt us. In our case, winning is key because we've already shown we can do everything they need, besides win the big game(s).

UK, Tenn, and NCSt all have brand new head coaches. Rutgers and Ole Miss coaches have only coached one year. They can preach new beginnings and start something special and all that good stuff. Whereas, like I've said on the site before, with us what you see is what you get. Until we win big games and show recruits that what you see at VT is national spotlight (winning, not losing) then we'll continue to get overlooked. Therefore, I think in our case, winning big games and winning bcs bowls is huge for us.

Yet, in 2014 Rivals ranks these teams:

2. UK
3. UTenn
13. Ole Miss
14. Rutgers
15. NCST

While the year is still young and will change dramatically by signing day, these teams are currently on top and none of them have won a big game lately. Historically, Ole Miss and UTenn have some big wins, but that's it.

Winning big games and championships may help, but they're not the ultimate factor in recruiting.

The twerp and the ND mascot almost look like they are scissoring haha

I will agree, college football definitely trumps NFL football. However, Ravens games can get pretty darn loud on defense. Like you said, it's only worth it if you get a good deal. Or in my case, happen to know a handful of people with season tickets / the former offensive coordinator.

I'm going to save you here. Don't go. There is no professional sport (baseball included) as boring live as the NFL. It's just a bunch of drunk 40+ year olds. There can be fun drunk 40+'s but the ones at NFL games tend to be the idiots who want to fight anyone that isn't rooting for their team. And it's not like a college game where everyone is having a good time during the commercial breaks, NFL commercial breaks happen more often and all you hear the entire time is some moron who is cursing up a storm for no apparent reason. Save your money, stay warm, and watch on your couch.

I definitely recommend a Ravens Game! However, ticket prices can get pricey.

Appropriately, you can only partially see the ND mascot.

Surprised that this did not get posted here.
