That's a solid call, I think I'm going to throw an underline under them.
Since the VT series ended, WVU has hosted teams such as Auburn, Miss St, LSU, Oklahoma, Baylor, Kansas St, etc without incident. Nothing wrong with a heated rivalry. I would love to play Hokies again.

We should refer to Coach Grimes recruiting as "Getting our Grimey hands places" example: VT has it's Grimey hands all up in the North East right now. NJ, NY, PA, we don't care, we are all up in it.
I think you're right. But again, it's all the ability to sell your school. I think you can compare VT to KSU, Wisconsin (before Bielema left), and Arkansas (before the motorcycle accident). But, that may make your point stronger, none of those schools recruit consistently well. Nevertheless, I still firmly believe the best recruiters find a way to sell your school's strengths. Selling VT shouldn't be more difficult than a new coach at UK. VT football isn't stale. But, I do think their recruiting technique may be (sans Loeffler and Grimes).
OOPS! my bad. Shouldn't have been posting that late at night. Trey it is.
HOWEVA,
that late surge in their OLine drafts was largely attributed to Bob Bostad, who just took the same job with the Bucs. And first-rounder Gabe Carimi was cut by da bears, and he got picked up by Tampa so that he'd be reunited with his coach. I'm not saying he deserves all the credit for Wisky's road-grading OLines of late, but I think he's a decent chunk of it.
On the surface it looks like a joke, but secretly Joe is now adding logic to the site that deducts a turkey leg for every unnecessary exclamation point.
Posts inside of threads titled "Nnadi and Walker Commit to Tech" are excluded.
I could care less about the facilities. Mine and many others here chief complaint is the fact we always lose games in a heartbreaking fashion there.
Jameis Winston looked extremely impressive in their spring game. Kid is a total athlete. Also plays outfield on the baseball team. Might struggle a bit this season, but I'm nervous to watch him develop over the next few years.

Damn you hurting me right now. .. lol
BOSS HOGG!
We've seen some really good gifs tonight but this one is just top notch...kudos
This is Great news way to go US!
Ehh? Ehhh???

At 6-4, 285, he probably is our biggest recruiter.
Pretty interesting that Billy Ray Mitchell was flirting with the idea of going to Wisconsin (not sure if he got an offer from them). Here's a list of OL from Wisconsin that went to the NFL in the past 10 years (round # in parentheses):
2013: Travis Frederick (1)
2012: Kevin Zeitier (1), Peter Konz (2)
2011: Gabe Carimi (1) John Moffitt (3), Bill Nagy (7)
2010: None
2009: Kraig Ubrik (3)
2008: None
2007: Joe Thomas (1)
2006: None
2005: Dan Buenning (4)
2004: None
2003: Al Johnson (2), Ben Johnson (7)
Not quite OLU but it's still pretty impressive. Good get for us.
This recruits really need to stop calling us University of Virginia Tech.
it was in horrible taste.
I'm going to dock myself one turkey leg for that one.
Makes me want to look for him in T-time!
Since I don't think somebody's made the joke yet:
I foresee lots of Achy Breaky D-Lines in years to come.
Obviously the recruiters are not doing their job... They arn't even telling the recruits what the real name of the university is. On a serious note I'm super pumped that coach grimes is getting smart and aggressive guys that should turn around our most glaring weakness: O-line to maybe even a strength.
It was an 'merica party thrown at the "White House" on Wall St. (really close to Hokie Grill)

I just got home from the bar and my imagination has gotten the best of me.
