So true. Still surprised they put my picture up

If I ever bike past Moorehead, my reaction will likely be one of two things. 1: stop immediately and ask for an autograph/picture/to see his ring or 2: crash, while staring.

I enjoyed my stay there while it was all male because you could get away with some insane things because they probably felt sorry for us and they didnt have to worry about offending any female residents. You could tell there were girls moving in the next year when i was there because they started upgrading and redoing a lot of the restrooms.

Damn, would have been a great post right before mothers day. Please pass on the type you found. And welcome!

I didn't feel like looking for the official Alabama thread, but I just ordered my tickets for the Alabama game for $60. They are FINALLY for sale on hokietickets.com. So excited guys!

I wouldn't mind seeing a combination of Ben Rothlesberger and Tom Brady leading the Hokies one day...

Ever think you might be offending Logan Thomas (There is only one LT btw) by comparing him to Roethlisberger? ;)

Definitely some awesome flowers. Perfect for a Blacksburg garden.

I have often compared LT3 to Roethlisberger myself and caught flak for it. What folks don't understand in my comparison was their mobility. Big Ben is hard to bring down until his bum ankles finally caught up with him, but he had the ability to buy time with his feet while keep scanning downfield. This is where I see LT3. In fact, Mel "Fancy Hair" Kiper said the same thing. What sets LT3 behind in Big Ben is the ability to read coverage and anticipating breaks. That comes with proper coaching, seasoning, and learning. I have often argued for Thomas to go pro so he could sit behind a well-established starter and learn the rope. Of course, the hiring of Loeffler altered my perception a bit, but I maintain that LT3 is very similar to Big Ben in term of playing style and mobility.

Edit: Tried to link a table from Pro-footballReference.com and it didn't show up.

Honestly, I can't be mad at Foster, the coaching staff, or VT for not getting Hand. THe kid obviously realized that he doesn't need a hard major because he will more than likely go pro, so he switched from engineering to sports marketing. How is that VT's fault? If he switches back to engineering and we still don't get him, then that is on us, but until then, he basically made it virtually impossible for us to bring in. if we don't have the major, we aren't going to create one for one kid.

I don't like this at all. If the guy that got his ass handed to him was able to leave the hospital that night, then I don't think Holmes exceeded his right to defend himself. And I don't get how a few hours in the hospital costs $13k. I hope he gets reinstated.

Welcome! My wife and I just bought a house and I was thinking about doing some landscaping. I think you found the perfect flowers. Mind sharing where I could get those?

i feel sorry for the girls that live there now, i lived there 2004-2005 fall and spring and it was horrific the things that were done to that dorm...good times

Its becoming a perception problem. Each year the top talent goes out of state, it becomes more 'Ok' to do so.

Except given our recent track record...Maroon Effect? Orange jerseys, white pants. White Out? Maroon jersey, white pants. Orange Effect? #ALLCAMOALLTHETIME

From what I remember watching his film, Street is much more raw than Hand, but just as, if not more athletic. Hand was kind of a "must-get" from a perception standpoint. He was bullish on Tech early, in our state, loved Foster, so we have egg on our face for dropping out of the race. However, I'd be happy with either one of them, and Mihota (who has an Alabama offer) is no slouch either. Landing one of the big name defensive tackles is most important right now.

IF we land him it'll help yes, but with the talent that was in VA this year, we were supposed to land a mega class. At this point likely end in disappointment (compared to early season expectations).
