I love that this kid said I'm not leaving here without an offer. You have to respect his desire to play at tech. That type of attitude is contagious!

Reavis was just asked on twitter if Bradshaw's commitment was the "good news coming soon" and his reply was that it wasn't and "there is someone else". Who knows

Someone smarter than be can post the tweet. I'm a real newb at that stuff.

In Andy Bitter's article Bradshaw says the following in regards to Andrew Brown:

“At the end of the day it’s up to Andrew to decide where he wants to go,” Bradshaw said. “But I’ll try my best to get him up there.”

Exactly what you want to hear.

So I'd say the good news is the Jaylen Bradshaw commit... I was hoping it was Brown, but I'm still hopeful there. I have a feeling he fell in love with Tech during his visit.

The tradition of finding under-the-radar recruits continue.

Danny Coale wasn't ranked by many services, was a walk-on, and became a Hokies Legend.

I'm satisfied because it mean that the staff are continuing to find the diamonds in the rough, and turning them into All-ACC caliber players.

Edit: want to add: I can't wait to see what Moorehead does to the kid. Really can't wait.

Bring in all of Andrew Brown's teammates! It helps that he ran a 4.4 last weekend. Welcome to HokieNation!

The only thing I will say is, I did address at the bottom of my original post that the teams need to strap on their boot and start stomping. I said that the ACC need to win games, but let be real here, the national perception is the ACC is widely known as a successful basketball conference on par of the now dead Big East. Florida State was the king of the ACC until the last decade when Tech came into conference courtesy of Swofford's raiding the Big East and some political arm-twisting.

What I don't appreciate is being lumped into the same category as FSU fans, knowing their reputation and delirious, while offering some thought. It is not whining; it is simply offering some thoughts that run contrary to what many people want to think/believe.

Some folks who know me at McFarling's blog know I have strong opinions that often goes against the grains many, many times. I simply refuse to have the "herd mentality" where everyone follow what is popular and socially acceptable. I like to go against the grains, and you will see I do that very often.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this, but I highly recommend a visit to Bulls and Bones. That's also where they do Tech Talk Live Tuesday evenings.

Another place I recommend is Amelina's. Google map location They make Italian food and it's one of Christiansburg forgotten place to eat.

Another excellent place as few of you mentioned is The Summit. That is where my wife and I go for special occasions, anniversaries and/or just to have a fine dining. The menu is pricy, but well worth it.

Another unknown place is called The River Company. Google map Similar to Bulls and Bones, they also brew their own beer (I recommend getting samples to settle on one you like, they are good), and their menu is not knock-your-sock off, but try the Maryland crab dinner and you will be in heaven.
