For the southern teams it looks like they set up games in close geographical proximity. For the northern teams it looks like a coin toss and VT lost. Although Pitt-cuse is a former Big East match up. Besides the Duke-WF game, VT has the worst match-up for fan interest. Overall it is the worst match up for geographical interest.

If the matchups were based on geography I would have VT-birds, Hoos-Pitt, 'cuse-BC.

He also tweeted this earlier in the week. The kid just gets it; he's a true Hokie. I love getting those kinds of guys to commit to, play for, and promote the Hokies. Can't wait to see him on Worsham in a couple years.

Chris Coleman, head editor on TSL, said on The JD Howell Show (ESPN Blacksburg) that Reavis is close with Jacob Park. He was pretty sure that's to whom CJ was referring.

+1. I think the main factor is the recruits. Big time guys from Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, and other southern states have a hard time with the Blacksburg cold. Yes, we have to play in it, but having a place where they know they don't have to freeze their ass off every practice from October 20th on is a big draw for them. It is attractive to those guys from South Florida that we can pluck from Miami and FSU.

The Stadium Lot was one of the top 3, actually the highest scoring one. I believe the location they want is not right in the lot but rather down Southgate across the road that goes to the VTPD station. So at the corner of that road and Southgate, across from Chicken Hill, is where they are most likely going to build it. The drawback to that was the fact that it "doesn't fit the master plan" but who cares. It's on the outside of campus. It wouldn't ruin the tailgate scene that's in the stadium lot. The biggest loss is the fact that the lot they would remove was used for RVs and had some large, consistent tailgates for several years.

OT: +1 for your user name sir. I laughed quite hard remembering my childhood days watching that movie and scene over and over. SUCK BRICK KID!

Times are changing. Gibbs was famous for having outdoor practices in the snow and rain in the 80's and made his team tough because of it but was ridiculed for the same thing in the 2000's and the Redskins finally got their practice bubble built last year. The basketball practice facility was a must (I believe we were the last ACC team to get one). This is also a must. I have to imagine recruits from 757 and Florida are less than impressed with the weather in Blacksburg and this would help relieve some of those concerns.

Since no one else has said it yet, Welcome to Hokie Nation, Jaylen!

Now go and start studying one of the best we've ever had. Jaylen has a few inches on him, but if he's as fast as advertised, he'll remind us of this guy.

Where is Charlottesville Hokie? This should be an assignment. If anyone can come up with a place they want to see this from State College, PA, let me know. I'd love to see this thread become a collection of #BeatBama scenes from every campus we can get to.

I love to see kids do this kind of stuff. Born with ND in my blood, this one in particular makes me smile. However, I have a lot of respect for Alabama's fans and what Saban has been able to do there, so I wish there was a classier way to do this than flushing it.

I worked in West End for my 4 and Victory Lap years, and on Friday or Saturday nights when there are multiple recruits in on official visits, they reserve a section of Chop's dining area for them for dinner. Upon arrival, they are given a menu of things they can order, among of which are london broil, steaks and lobster as well as any sides from Chop that day. I want to say other things are on that menu but I've only seen recruits get huge steaks or lobsters, though often it's both, as well as huge helpings of sides. I'm sure they are also offered anything from Wired as well (ice cream, smoothies, cookies, desert etcetera). The managers also recruit student assistant managers working that night to serve them. Even though I was a SAM, I was never offered to waiter for them because I would be a waiter and not a waitress... it's all about attention to detail.

If adding Bradshaw to the team means Moorehead gets a talented athlete to mold who WANTS to be a Hokie... then he was worth the scholarship.

The 4.4 40 and 39 inch vert don't hurt either. Not to mention he's supposed to be a pretty solid route runner with decent to good hands. I'll take a natural receiver any day of the week.
