I agree! Here, have an upvote Micah.
Wait... Ryan Williams dragging a guy for a TD in a blowout victory is one of the four greatest moments in VT sports history??? Doesn't even belong in the top 32. I mean, the play was cool as hell... but c'mon guys!
Love the idea though.
At least we won't lose to JMU again.
Thank you, deer antler spray!
My only point was that a 70% completion rate was unrealistic under Beamer's preferred scheme.
Tech's passing attack could certainly be both efficient and effective though, and fans should expect/demand it to be so. If Tech has a 60% completion rate while throwing a large percentage of the passes down the field, it will have an exceptional passing game.
Would it be possible to add the "mark all as read" button to the Tracker page? I used that feature a lot on the previous site, don't see it anymore.
Otherwise, site looks great.
What version of Safari, Windows or OSX?
Interesting idea. It sounds like you are asking for a PM system. Requires additional coding and plenty of server space for saving members' messages.
I do have a suggestion, though, instead of a PM system, is possible for the administrator of TKP to set up some kind of affiliation to StubHub so that only TKPers can buy tickets from other TKPers? Just a thought.
I'm not seeing it either, except for in the brief moment between when the page loads and the content loads.
Using Safari, in case you're wondering, Joe.
Nice. Some Hokie sites update their layout to disastrous results. I don't foresee that happening for you.
apparently my phone takes giant screenshots...
The field sizes on the register page is causing issues on the mobile site:

But this is fantastic (even if you are required to put in the alternate text for images):

70%
I think the debate should be clarified. Is the debate over whether or not we can have 70% completion rate or just be an efficient passing team?
Hokiefan591988 didn't say we can't be an efficient passing team by being run heavy and/or utilizing fakes. He said 70% won't happen and in all seriousness, 70% is a very high mark. Tom Brady didn't get 70% last year, Peyton Manning did get 70% last year, RG3 didn't get 70% last year. Run heavy teams like Texas A&M, Bama, and KState didn't even get to 70% last year. They were approaching it but 70% is a tough number to attain. However, it would be foolish to say we can't be an efficient passing team just because we focus on the run (which Hokiefan did not say).
I was about to make the same point. RG3 rarely threw in to anything more than 1 on 1 coverage, because the run threat was so great (and he made the right read most of the time). Logan might not be as good of a passer, but our offense can definitely have a big run threat
Flacco is DEFINITELY not elite. He can make the throws but he doesn't do it often enough.
Anyone else REALLY excited to see J.C. Coleman working hard? I've always thought that if he put on a little extra muscle that he could look a lot like David Wilson (yeah, I'll give you that there's a bit of optimism there...)
Also, where's Edmunds on these...?
Great job, guys. I love that there is a "French" nav item. As a digital strategist, I can appreciate vital content and his film breakdown over the past year proved invaluable. Well done.
I was with you until you included Flacco as an elite QB. He may be the highest paid player in the league and may have won a superbowl, but not elite.
I don't know what you're talking about, that season we lost to Boise the first week, drank a shitton of bourbon the second week, and then we beat ECU the third week. I don't seem to recall any JMU game...
No worries. Although now that you DO see it I bet you love it.
The only thing I'd like to see is a messaging system. If that's too difficult (I have no clue how difficult it is) then just disregard this. But I think a messaging system would be good because, at least for me, I'd rather sell my extra tickets on here to other big time Tech fans than some random guy on StubHub. But I don't think anyone wants to post their email or anything on here. Just my thoughts, but still amazing site. Really appreciate all you guys have done on this site considering you don't even charge people for being on it.
Love seeing the DBs setting the tone. I'm sure Exum would be up there if he could.
Oh snap! Hooray for the mobile site!
Joe mentioned it in his bit, why they left it out.

Or set it up similar to Craigslist. Each user must provide an e-mail address that remains hidden, but other users can choose to e-mail another user which sends an e-mail to an unknown address. The receiver can then reply to the e-mail they received. Shouldn't need server space for saving messages, just a client to send the e-mails.
