I know they ended up coming out of the coastal division last year, but I would think we would still have a larger national draw than them. And yet they have two thursday night games, although playing Clemson probably has more to do with that than anything else

The only real positive I can think of is recruiting, the logistics of the Thursday night game doesn't work out well for high school kids that have school and games on Friday night. It does suck for the students though to not have the Thursday night game seeing as we kinda created the uniqueness of the Thursday night game for ESPN.

Maybe there needs to be a contest for a new cheer? Something simple enough to learn yet unique, recognizable, and enduring for all time.

Do we really need an identifiable cheer or cheers? Do we already have one or more?

I think a good cheer should bring every Hokie fan of any age together to make some noise.

Ok, remember when we moved to the ACC? It was kind of like, we were wheedled in by the gov? Everyone thought, yeah, FSU & Miami are going to dominate the league? No one gave us a snowball's chance. We lost three games in 2004, one at the start to the #1 team in the nation (USC), one at the end of the season to a ticked-off, left-at-the-altar #3 Auburn team, and one league game, a close one with NC State. All three games were competitive. But the one thing that the 04 Hokies had was a BIG chip on their shoulder. They heard it all season..they didn't belong....they weren't going to be competitive. They beat three top-20 teams (WVU, LOLUVA, & Miami), and the most points they allowed any opponent was 24 (twice, one W, one L).

This is the same kind of disrespect. They aren't going to be any good. They weren't competitive last season, and won't be this season. Frank is over the hill. We've heard it all before. I hope the team takes notice. Hopefully they make everyone take notice of the boys from Blacksburg. It starts with #BEAT BAMA!

All this the same day we found out the horse on a treadmill was sold to IKEA. I hate Mondays

beat LOLUVA, Win the ACCCG, and throttle whoever we play in the BCS by a margin of 50 points. That will make me feel better.

Things can only escalate quickly from here....

A blow to an already weak home schedule for the year, not good.

I'm sick and tired of getting fucked over. The ACC is killing us slowly as a program and Weaver is just letting it happen.

We're not going back to UNC, I thought we had them at home no matter what. Miami, GT, UVA and BC are on the road.

Glad to know the ACC doesn't care about my senior year. Just means that I'll have to take 2 trips to Atlanta next year.

I think the ACC needs to overhaul their leadership and front office, ASAP. They have help make the ACC a mockery of college football. Who forces a school to repeat road trip to Chapel Hill and Miami? Why didn't the ACC force Notre Dame to become full member of the ACC?

Let's not forget the LOL of $3 ACCCG that became national news and a big time mockery.

And traveling to Atlanta, again, to take on the Bees.

That's what I get for writing a post in class on my phone, and then putting it up on my computer once I get out.

You know he was remembering the game last year and thinking "It worked then, why not try it now?"

They were down 6 with 2:10 left and he was fouling. That's plenty of time, but I'll take it.

In a long day inside cassell, it was nice to see the men end their losing streak and also a nice site to see all 9 students that were at the women's game rush the court(more for the entertainment purpose than anything) after defeating the #19 noles by 18.

He might have had slightly better measurables, but he was still only something like 2nd team all-ACC.
