Yea, drunk driving and statutory rape can definitely derail a career.
...he could have cited Marcus Vick. THAT would have been entertaining.
+1 to you, sir.
@coachsbeamer you the man Shane! No need to thank us, it's a natural part of being a Hokie #hokienation #alwaysjumping #loluva— Bill Belichick (@Hokatriots) January 29, 2013
PS - Shane's account doesn't have that ever so trusting 'verified' logo, never noticed that before today
Martin Lawrence was never funny.
Alabama Players Reportedly Used Banned Substances Before National Championship dlvr.it/2sZlhq
5. Beamerball (that kick return by Roberts was huge)
After watching that video, I really miss the following:
1. Tyrod
2. Ryan Williams
3. Jason Worlids (We need Gayle to be better than him)
4. Big physical corners.
Last time UVA beat VT
-Free Willy was still alive
-Sammy Sosa and Raphael Palmeiro had recently topped 500 Career HRs, and it wasn't thought to be a dirty achievement
-The Marlins won the World Series
-Alexander Ovechkin, Sidney Crosby, Phillip Rivers, Eli Manning, Larry Fitzgerald, DeAngelo Hall, Vince Wilfork, Chris Cooley and David Wright hadn't made their professional debuts.
-Lebron had been in the NBA for about a month.
Here's how it looked for us last time around. Hopefully we come out on the better end :( Went to the game in 09, and regardless of the outcome i had such a blast with Alabama fans personally.
I just hope he doesn't put too much pressure on himself to return prematurely. I'm sure both of his parents (giving their careers) will urge caution.
That being said, I can't wait til he lays out some sucker from the other sideline again!
In that respect, it is kinda the opposite of our prior big season openers.
He'll be fully healed just in time for the National Championship!!! #BEATBAMA2dot0
We have NOTHING to lose. We are the underdogs and could really blow this thing up when we BeatBama.
After such a rough year this year, expectations for next year will most definitely be low from the national media. Even if we get absolutely wrecked by Bama (which hopefully won't happen), people won't think too much of it, because that's what was supposed to happen. If we play with them, but lose somehow in the end, people will probably gain respect for us, and when we do #BEATBAMA, everyone will be really high on the Hokies. I like this. No matter what the outcome is, it can't really hurt us, only help.
great analysis, I completely agree.
While being a Tech fan can be hard at times, it is almost the exact opposite to being a Cubs fan...
Maybe that's the comment...
"The last time UVA beat Tech, Martin Lawrence was still funny"
Martin Lawrence made Wazzup the thing about a decade earlier on his TV show with WZUP radio. Check it out.

Check out about 2:15ish. Wouldn’t think you would remember this seeing how his show was on while you were still getting rug burns on your knees.
No offense, just feeling my age. You get older but you don't feel older, its just young'ns getting older too or else we just wouldn't notice.
slavery was illegal?
have already sold him to UVA.
When UVA last won two in a row vs. VT:
- Clinton denied having relations with Monica Lewinski
- Windows 98 released by Microsoft
- Google is founded
- Gallon of gas costs $1.15
- U.S. announces first budget surplus in 30 years!
NO FUCK THAT! Take this video down, I don't need to relive that horrible day. Am I the only Cubs fan on this entire site? I think a part of me died during that inning. If you all think being a Tech fan is hard sometimes, try rooting for the Cubs. I promise it's worse.
Just wasn't sure who actually recruited him. Their whole coaching staff is falling apart though, so I didn't know if there had been any word. Signing Day is right around the corner.
