...messing with Jon Oliver. That guy sucks at picking coaches, but I wouldn't want to meet him in a dark alley either.

The larger programs like to play 2 games against obviously inferior opponents, and both should be at home. Tech shouldn't be playing @Bowling Green or @Marshall or @JMU, etc. Hence, that gives us 7 home games. I'm still trying to figure out why we're playing ECU almost annually, alternating home and away...

Random other fact along these lines, in 2016 we are scheduled to play 8 home games. The schedule just lines up that way.

he's almost there, few more thousand followers and he'll have the blue check mark.

Story Corner:

Over the weekend the Mrs. and I sat down on the couch, flipped on the AppleTV and perused the (always shitty) offerings available on our Netflix Instant Queue. We ended up watching "Red Lights", a movie starring Robert DeNiro, Sigourney Weaver and Cillian Murphy. Basic gist of the movie is DeNiro plays this acclaimed psychic (think Chris Angel, sans goth schtick and cool) who comes out of hiding/retirement for one last tour. Weaver and Murphy are university professors that specialize in debunking the unexplained. Murphy gets so caught up in trying to disprove DeNero's "abilities" that it gets dangerous. Anyways, DeNiro's character reminded me SO MUCH of Saban; cult-of-personality type stuff. Your comment got me thinking; if Saban had psychic abilities a la DeNiro's Simon Silver character, he absolutely could have sabotaged our defensive backfield by tearing up Exum's knee. Slippery floor? Chain reaction of chaotic movements within the game? Untied shoelaces? No one will know for sure...except Saban...

Blue Streak, Bad Boys, and Martin were all great. Martin especially.

I really can't believe this is what we are talking about on here haha.

Exum's injury really put a damper on our good mood in the wake of the press conference.

At least uva is still uva

We just need BeamerBall back in general. We NEVER have blocked punts or Field Goals. I miss the days of the fear of blocked kicks.

Clearly Stinespring was drawing up his routines and O'Cain was feeding him lines.

I couldnt agree more it takes longer to get your confidence back in the knee than it does to get the strength back in the knee. It took a full year before I had complete confidence in my own knee but was back playing sports in 8 months.

Club Dread was being produced after Broken Lizard hit a home run with Super Troopers.

Not incessantly like ESPN does and even Herm gets tired of hearing it on NFL 32/Countdown. The Practice one still gets a rise out of me but it's also kind of played when every other Sports Talk Radio has that soundboard (Damn you WFAN NY and ESPN 950 AM).

Good News/Bad news for RB detractors.

Good news: He probably won't be in the starting lineup next year. Unless he beats out Rankin for PG, he will probably be replaced by Adam Smith next year at SG and if Donte Clark is as good as advertised, those two would probably be the main rotation.
That being said he will probably be playing some point next year with Rankin being the only true point guard on scholarship. I basically see him being the primary reserve for PG/SG/SF unless he takes some strides the rest of the season and during the summer.
