But we were watching this in Vawter hall when I was a sophmore. It was so weird....there was like 30 seconds of utter silence...then it just exploded in the halls. Totally wild.
The only way it could be a longer shot would be to move a bit more toward the corner of the court. Les was pretty close when he turned, but there might be a foot or two there.

they gave us the option for lower level or upper level (or maybe that was boise, can't remember) but ultimately I think we paid around $50 for nosebleeds (ended up being cool seats because we were right on the VT/bama border so for three quarters we were talking major sh*t to the bama fans literally ten feet away). Keep in mind that was the student rate.
I've had this game circled on my calendar since they announced it. Only thing that sucks is I've finally got approved for retraining (getting out of my shitty cruise missile job) into the medical career field and my training starts on August 12th. So instead of a 9 hour drive from Shreveport/Bossier, Louisiana... I now have to take a flight out of San Antonio (more monies!!!)

My family gets season tickets every year, but for neutral site games, we usually fins cheap tickets off of stubhub.
I was only joking man. But I did send him tons of pro-Hokie-anti-clemson tweets.
No useful ticket information yet but a keyplayer provided us with this information a few weeks back:
"....emailed the contact at the C-Fil-a Kickoff web site and got a reply that said they anticipated selling only through the schools. The reply was silent on the sale date despite me specifically asking, so I'm assuming they haven't set a date."
I was a student when we played bama last time and if I remember correctly, they went on sale in April I do believe? Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
As far as hotels go, check out kayak.com and trivago.com. Those sites are really convenient because you can search 'georgia dome' and it will give you a boatload of hotels from all kinds of websites. I got mine already half a mile from the stadium for about $120 a night.
