But there's always the off-chance of a "letdown game" after such a huge win... It happens ALL the time in college football. Hopefully it won't happen to us after we #BEATBAMA

Exum, Kendall, Jarrett (I don't see it - don't get me wrong, he was one of our best defenders last year but he's too small for a NFL safety but I hope I'm wrong)... and who? No way Bonner has NFL potential based on what we've seen so far.

# | OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Scot Loeffler, Jeff Grimes, and Aaron Moorehead Join the Hokie Football Staff one of the most stressful offseasons i can remember glad its done now. im excited and ready for spring ball and then #BEATBAMA
I mean, if Stinespring actually approaches this as a student of the game and the offense clicks, this provides him with a great learning opportunity to see how to correctly run an offense. There may come a time where we are fighting off other schools because they want him to run their offense.
Way to man up and know your role! Lets hope that there is no hard feelings on the staff. I.e. my allegiance is with _____.
I see what your saying but at the same time, I think Stiney may be relieved and actually kind of happy that he doesn't have to man the offense anymore and be the butt of our jokes/criticism. So yes, he's probably not the happiest that he got demoted but he probably doesn't hate it either.

i.e. Shane & Co.
Reunites him with Andrew Luck.
That Stiney actually is a great guy. A great OC? No. It's nice to see that he'll still play a big part of the team in recruiting.

From other things I've read it seemed as though he was going to be in New York with the Jets until Arians got the job with Arizona. Good for Pep- sounded like VT was a major player until the NFL came calling and he would be nuts to turn down any NFL OC position if he wants to be an HC at the next level. Congrats.
Depending on what people want to believe, there is a source for everyone.
Up until Danny Coale's catch, that PI call on Hyman was how I defined being screwed by a ref. I was in the second row, feet away from where Hyman "pushed off," and I can assure you, it was clean.
Remember he was only a true soph last year.

Wasn't the year that their field got painted the last time we LOST to UVA?
Beamerball: The Evolution..... (on the front of the shirt)
Beat-Down-Ball (on the back, with a RB bowling over a player, head twisted, body contorted, and spittle flying from his face mask).
Look at what Loeffler did at Temple, at what he was able to accomplish in one year after the entire coaching staff was changed. They had a darn good offense and if Tech averages 30 points a year and finishes 7th in the nation in rushing, I believe Tech will win the ACC.
Heck, if it wasn't for the fact that Frazier is one of the least talented throwing QB's in all of CFB Auburn would have done just fine. Seriously, that guy was AWFUL. Just watch the game tape. Frazier made the wrong reads, couldn't make the throw on many correct reads, and couldn't run in between the tackles when asked.
There's a reason the Auburn O sucked in 2011, and it held true through 2012. There's only so much a coach can do when his X's can't beat the other teams O's.
But forget the passing game, look at what Loeffler was able to do with the rushing attack in one season. He put up pretty good numbers against the SEC... with a team that couldn't force defenses to respect the Pass.
Tech has at least twice the talent on Offense that Auburn did last year. Loeffler will improve the O and, in conjunction with Foster's D, will improve Tech's record.
How could I have forgotten about that one? That was amazing!

i agree 100%. stiney definitely had to swallow a lot of pride to make this work. dude must seriously love virginia tech. i totally have respect for that.
now lets get out there and get a te who can catch and block, not one or the other.
