I'm planning on utilizing my WatchESPN app (I just checked and it is listed on their programming for 3:30)

It seems nearly certain that Virginia Tech will hire Scot Loeffler as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, as well as Jeff Grimes as offensive line coach. It has been reported that Aaron Moorehead, an assistant coach at Stanford, could be hired as wide receivers coach as well.

Remember that this is a process. The contracts have to be drawn up, and the background checks have to be performed. It generally takes 2-3 days for that process to take place, so I would expect an official announcement to come from Virginia Tech later in the week, assuming everything checks out correctly.

According to Joe Shaud (espn cfb host) LT3 will be on 3:40ish, rather than 3:45....stay tuned!

you can get it on the "espn3" tab under "watch". And as a matter of really bad timing, I have to pick up my kid from school at that time.

JC Shurburtt from 247 Sports just tweeted/released a story saying LT3 is coming back, for what its worth. He's usually pretty solid when he puts something out in the public realm (out from behind the paywall)

Virginia Tech has hired Scot Loeffler to be its offensive coordinator, a source told CBSSports.com's Bruce Feldman on Monday. He'll take over for Bryan Stinespring, who has run the Tech offense since 2002.

Loeffler was the offensive coordinator at Auburn in 2012 and at Temple in 2011. He coached the quarterbacks at Florida in 2009 and 2010.

His offense last season at Auburn was dead last in the SEC and 118th nationally in total offense.

Loeffler's primary challenge at Virginia Tech will be to turn around the Hokies' wildly inconsistent but physically-promising quarterback, Logan Thomas, who regressed significantly as a 2012 junior after a solid sophomore season. Of course, this assumes that Thomas returns for his senior year. As of this writing, he was considering an early jump to the NFL. There's no telling how the Loeffler hire will influence his decision.

If Thomas looks back to Loeffler's early days as a quarterbacks coach, he might be persuaded to stay. After all, Loeffler tutored Tom Brady and Chad Henne while he was at Michigan.

But his results have been disappointing of late.

Loeffler was hired by Urban Meyer at Florida in 2009 to introduce more "pro-style" elements to the Gator attack. But his two seasons as quarterbacks coach in Gainesville coincided with a significant drop in Florida's scoring and total offense numbers, especially in 2010. While he did help Temple improve offensively in 2011, his one season at Auburn tutoring the young but gifted Kiehl Frazier was an unimitigated disaster.

Virginia Tech isn't known for its offensive prowess. A hire like this might explain why.

that one still haunts me. or the uva game where we let them come back after leading 29-7 at the half.

3. BC game as you stated. Cold, rainy, heart breaking. GDmattryan and their wennie of a HC.
2. Miami 05. That one hurt me for a LONG time. That atmosphere was electric, then we laid a BIG egg. MV5. Sigh.
1. JMU. Not only was it cold and miserable like the BC game - we were still recovering from the Boise St. ball crusher. Losing to those clowns was surreal.

1998 Syracuse game with Mcnabb throwing up before throwing a TD on the last play of the game? I still see that one.

Since a wiki is open sourced anyone can edit it without fact-checking. It gets corrected by peer review.

If you check the history you can see it has been edited two dozen times since yesterday. It has also been rolled back due to potential vandalism.

1-Michigan in the Sugar - my fiance knows there are two topics she still can't mention around me without me flying into a rage. Danny's catch is one of them. I think this one hurt so bad because I felt cheated.
2-JMU - my sister was at JMU, and was dog-sitting for me. I had to drive through Harrisonburg to pick up my dog that night on my way home from the game. There were fireworks. It was like a drive of shame.
3-Boston College - Sat through that miserable rain the whole game, only to see Matt Ryan rip victory (and a title chance) away from us at the last second. I died a little inside.
4-Miami in '05 - This was my freshman year. The campus was electric, and we had gameday. I was so excited. And then Marcus pulled a Glennon. The worst part was all those fireworks they had bought for the game that they set off the next night as an impromptu fireworks show. Every bang was a reminder of how few points we scored...

I guess 5 is a tie, depending on which one I'm thinking about more recently between FSU or Clemson in the ACC Championship, Bama, or Boise St... Those all sucked too.

I'm somewhat skeptical that it's legit... JC Coleman seems to have come and shot it down pretty quickly

I wanted to downvote this but that wouldn't be fair. I wish I could just downvote the news, not the poster lol.
