Didn't Finney-Smith go 0 for 25 last year? Are they wearing down already? Need to go back and watch the OK State game, they are a good team that we beat by 10 points. They beat NC State by 20. Confidence and a load of enthusiasm is needed.

Unless the guy in your picture plays quarterback for us I don't know if it matters who we have next year against Bama.

I have no idea. From what I understand (via Chris Coleman of Tech Sideline), Beamer issued gag order, so nobody is going to let anything leak out of his office without his say so. It would appear to me that Pep was one of the candidates Beamer interviewed. And Shane Beamer was with Beamer the elder in Nashville, so maybe there may be some SEC OC that Beamer is interested in.

I honestly don't know. It's pure speculation.

He showed so much regression last year. I agree that the coaching was awful, but so many of those decisions he made left you scratching your head. I don't care about the stats because as a team our stats were bad last year, but the thing that was the most frustrating to watch was his decision making. Is it something we can fix? Sure, but it seemed like not having a running back to rely on like David Wilson screwed up his mind and made him think that he had to make more plays than he really did. I think he can be good in a play-action offense that really simplifies the reads (the best college example is what Bill O'Brien has done at Penn State, he made Matt McGloin look like a good quarterback), but in this spread offense that we tried to run I don't think his decision making is good enough to be productive.

Forget about Finney-Smith, I wish Harrell stayed committed to us. He's a big contributor for Louisville right now (which means he would be starting for us without question).

Agreed. I can't stand people that bash Logan for one bad season. He looked so good in the spring. Something happened between spring and the season that screwed him up and it wasn't Whitfield.

logan thomas can be a great qb. we all saw 2011. that actually happened. it can happen again and even get better with the right coaching. i'm confident of that.

he'll never be put up there with mv1 or tt because of this past year. but he can absolutely leave redeemed and universally loved by the hokienation like bryan randall if he can get back to the level that we've seen him play at in the past. then he can go to the nfl. and i'll cheer him on every time he sees the field.

the people who bang on logan to me are the worst type of fair weather fans. he had a bad year. he absolutely can have one for the ages next year. to me, him coming back might have more influence on our success next year than who's calling plays.
