Dorian would be a HUGE help this year. He's a great rebounder, good defender, and his offense continually developed last year. He would be our best big man and leading rebounder this year. While he may have started off slow in his freshman year, he's going to be a solid player for Florida.

I think we're also missing Dorian Finney-Smith.

JVZ did have a poor game yesterday but I still think he'll end up being more useful than Raines and Barksadale. Eddie did play a solid second half yesterday but he's still turning the ball over waaaayyyy to much. Beyer and Johnston both contributed well yesterday on offense but continue to be defensive liabilities simply because of size/athleticism. Beyer was guarding BC's best player for a solid portion of the game- no surprise that he put up 26 points and shot 65% from the field.
This teams looking at a max of 2 or 3 wins in the ACC in my opinion.

One of my law professors made a point today by asking us these questions:
Do you watch football?
Do you yell and say "that was a bad play call!!!"?
If you were given the chance, would you actually take control and make the play calls?

After the last question, only four hands out of 70 were raised, mine included. He asked us why. All the dudes said they thought had enough football smarts and that they could do it given the chance.

My rationale? I'm a Hokie. Anyone is better than what we got now. At least 65% of Americans, myself and my 14 year old brother included, could call a better game than O'Cainspring.

No one really understood (I am in South Carolina), but my dad appreciated the humor when I relayed the tale to him.

So what I would do? Start with the O line. Teach them to be beasts and have their way with defenses. Then I would find my best 2 RBs and give the ball to them. And the #1 rule I would abide by? Making calls appropriate for the situation (ex: no more passes of any kind behind the line of scrimmage on 3rd down, especially when 8 yards are needed. That's just ridiculous.). I would also make sure that the QBs are being taught properly. Whatever they did to LT in the offseason was bad. And then I would run the ball some more. haha

I onside kick an average of two times a game playing NCAA. I also go for it on 4th down about 60% of the time. Finally, my favorite play to run is the HB Slip Screen.

I have led my team to back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back national titles, had three heisman winners and twelve first round draft picks.

Thank you for your consideration!

Hey, Jeff Banks realized that he would be banking his success somewhere else when he realized that Thomas Jefferson never really founded UVA. Thomas Jefferson actually founded Virginia Tech.

38-0.

may actually be the new OC now :(

as much promise as leal has you do not want his first start to be against alabama. i understand that people were frustrated with logan this year, but weve seen how good he can be. logan gives us the best chance to win. we need him bad next year. if he goes pro i wish him the best but i really really hope he stays

1. Virginia Tech offensive coordinator

Offensive coordinator / tight ends / offensive tackles coach Bryan Stinespring hasn't been demoted, but many feel someone new will run the offensive moving forward. Receivers coach Kevin Sherman has left for Purdue and it is expected that offensive guards / centers coach Curt Newsome will head to James Madison. After winning the Russell Athletic Bowl, Frank Beamer said his No. 1 priority will be the ability to run the football. Stanford offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Pep Hamilton could be a name that gets in the mix here. Shane Beamer coached with Shawn Elliot at South Carolina, but it would seem that Elliot would only leave South Carolina for a coordinator position. Steve Spurrier has been quite outspoken how much he likes Elliot, recently indicating that Elliot was one of his best hires ever.

Green would be averaging 5 or 6 assists per game if our guys could finish. Beyer works his butt off and deserves all the playing time they give him. Eddie has just been pressing, but he seemed to turn the corner in the second half yesterday. JVZ is still as soft as they come inside, hopefully he gets better.
