1. I wouldn't redshirt my best goddamn athlete.
2. I find an OL coach that's worth a damn and can develop 5 bullies.
3. I recruit people for the positions I intend them to play.
4. Institute an offense similar to Stanford or Texas. Heavy on the I formation, with a few shotgun sets should they be needed. Balance the run with play action passes, but not in any order that's predictable like R2P2. Use timing routes like slants and hooks to eat up yards, with the occasional deep route to keep the secondary honest.

Haha beat me to it! Bleacher Report's Teamstream has done a great job

I saw a picture in a t-shirt, thought the same thing. I think he'll be on top of it this year.

I think they don't use crossing routes or deep outs enough. Against UNC and Clemson, it seemed like they ran a ton of slants and skinny posts to go with the occasional go route and scree.

For what it is worth, Arian Foster is more of an Alfred Morris zone run, two steps plant outside foot and cut back off the uncovered man. The only NFL backs that I think would be great in any system are AD, Frank Gore, and Ray Rice.

Lacy's 157-yard, two-touchdown performance in the 42-14 national title win over Notre Dame didn't hurt his NFL stock. CBSSports.com's Rob Rang has Lacy as the draft's top running back, No. 43 overall. With the short shelf life of NFL running backs, Lacy is probably wise to declare.

Milliner is widely considered to be a first-round talent. The 6-foot-1 Milliner impacted the title game early by defending Notre Dame's 6-foot-6 tight end, Tyler Eifert, on a lob pass on Notre Dame's first drive.

D.J. Fluker is also expected to forgo his senior season. That leaves Alabama losing 3 of their starting offensive linemen (Barrett Jones and Chance Warmack were seniors).

I might make the argument that Logan's passes, like that one, are the reason we don't throw over the middle often; Logan's passes make it look like he hates his receivers.

We need as much defensive help as possible next year. I think many of us are smart enough not to think a new OC is going to come in and fix everything overnight because there will probably be some serious growing pains (personnel, coaching style, scheme, program culture). However, the disparity between offense and defense in Blacksburg has been SO glaring for SO long that I think we all have visions of this new OC (whoever he is) being a savior, and that will lead to lofty, and possibly unrealistic expectations for a big part of the fanbase. The reality is that we need the defense to carry the water through the early part of our schedule in 2013 so we can have a shot at an ACC title later in the year. Gayle staying is a big step towards making that a reality.

"what will break first? You're mind... or you're body"

Things are falling into place #BEATBAMA I am really excited to watch our defense next year!

Looking forward to another year of twitter trashtalk from @JGayle99

gayle to mccarron after the first blindside sack: "victory has defeated you"

See: LT3 to danny coale, at miami in 2010 when tyrod was out for a play. WE DONT THROW IT ACROSS THE MIDDLE ANYMORE. No slants, nothing!! brutal!

I formation. Good blocking tight ends. Line up unbalanced, block your tackle and both tight ends down, pull the strong side guard and kick out the end. Lead the fullback through. Pound it, while occasionally slipping in a sprint draw and a counter trey. Pound it, throw in Y release and bootleg, especially in the red zone. Receivers must be able to beat press coverage and run post, corner, and crossing routes.
