As much promise as Bucky (and Carlis Parker for that matter) shows, I don't want to see either of them against Bama next year. Experience trumps talent in that situation for the first game of the season.

I think we keep everyone. No one had a stellar individual season, and the team's performance had to leave them with a bad taste in their mouths. I think they all return, and they all return eager to have a big turn around. Keeping Exum and Fuller should be our biggest priority, since the secondary is about as deep as a kiddie pool. I wouldn't mind Logan leaving. Bucky Hodges could do at least as well next year as Logan did this year.
good point but considering philly's oline play this season ... and more importantly that chung hasn't been coaching very long at all .. i'd say there are better options
And, of course, Logan if he comes back needs to learn how to throw an accurate pass more than once every 10 throws.
I hate ads but you may want to leave space in the app (header or footer) for ad space to be managed by thekeyplay. AFAIK that's their only revenue source for funding the site and if mobile/app traffic eats too much normal traffic there needs to be an ad option to keep their revenues up.

they don't add anything in this format, and only serve to break up a poster's mesage.
think reddit. they do tree/threaded style comment structure but they don't bother with subject lines for the individual comments.

Maddy, no doubt. I think Jack needs to improve his support in coverage, but if he keeps making tackles he will certainly garner attention. Enough to leave early? Doubtful, but naturally we're all hoping he produces at that level.
If Andrew Miller hadn't been hurt, he may have looked at leaving, but from the looks of it, all the juniors should be back and poised for a strong year.
i remember kyle tweeting that he was looking forward to playing on the same field as kendall so i dont really see him bolting. i really think we need everyone that we can get for 2013, offense and defense. i just cant see logan leaving. even with leal i think logan will give us the best chance of winning. he did not have a good year by his standards and i think if he can get it together and have a good year next year, he could be that top 5 draft pick mel kiper had him at at one time. itd be great to get bucky a redshirt year and to learn from logan as well
He proved how pivotal he was to our success a LB and with Bruce graduating, he will be an anchor next year. With Jack, Edwards, and RVD, it should be a pretty solid LB group with Deon Clarke, Chase Williams, Dahmon McKinnon, and Devin Vandyke having potential to be good backups. I think Tyler had a good year though, but not good enough that he will leave early. I also think Skip is important too. While we should return our ends, we lose Hop, so it will be Maddy, Harley, and Skip returning. While I think Maddy and Harley would be fine, having that third body who has been solid for several years will give us even more leadership on that line.
I went to 3 this year and I'd go to more if he were here. Gabbert and Henne are just so blah...

Just throwing this out there for the sake of conversation, but what about Eugene Chung? Former Hokie offensive lineman now working as Assistant Offensive Line Coach with the Philadelphia Eagles. Granted the Eagles' O-line has been killed by injuries this year, he's more than likely out of a job after this season once Andy Reid gets canned. Also, his son Kyle is a commit in the 2013 signing class.
If had two or three more inches on him he'd be in the permanent rotation, but you can't teach size. Watching the practices, he is one of the hardest workers on the team besides Green.

There is nothing you can really do about all the long rebounds on long shots but we have a big problem rebounding once we bring the double team in the post. I'm sure coach Johnson sees this but we need to clean it up before conference play against teams that are athletic across the front line. Other than that we did what we needed to do which was win and limit some of the minutes for some of the starters.
It's seems like it's been happening a lot during the last three games especially. Guy's on the opposing team being left with clean looks from 3 and us praying they don't convert them. If the Okie State sharpshooter, Forte had shot better than 2-11 from 3 and MSVU had a guy besides Usher that could hit from 3 the games would have been drastically different. I'm just concerned for when we start playing teams in the ACC who make those shots.

Since I know Joe knows his computer coding, if he's up for it, I may give him the framework once it's done and let him add what he wants to be able to allow for ads or anything else to help their revenue. Hell, I'd pay at least .99 for an app like this so that's another option!
