It isn't a hold. The awkward fall made it look like he was yanked down, but the ref shouldn't have made the call without seeing the hands out away from his body or outside the shoulder pads.
I don't care what happened last week. Win the Coastal, knock off the FSU/Clemson rep in the ACCCG, and win the Orange Bowl.

One of the benefits of working in Cassell is getting to work with some football players from time to time. he was one of them and should probably have started this year. with joey p gone next year, he will have two years to potentially start.
That was one of the biggest questions I thought going into the season was why they switched Bonner and Exum. Jarret is definitely doing good back there and with Exum back there the safety spot would be locked down.
I was thinking the same about RVD too, wasn't he recruited as a safety anyway? He is quick as hell and has great instincts.

I would LOVE to see VT play WVU again. Some of the greatest games in VT history were played against WVU!
The Black Diamond Trophy needs to be a thing again. It would get a lot of press and the fans on both sides would be into this game 100% percent. My WVU friends (I know... I associate with WVU peeps...) and I miss being able to have that rivalry. In my opinion, WVU is the ideal non-conference opponent that Weaver should want to schedule. It will help with SOS and national recognition (like you said, Big 12 y'all). It just makes sense.
Misunderstood when you said "bring it back for real"...I thought you meant like the old days before Weaver and his bullshit. But seriously...go for it. Our drum line tried to replace Stick It In with another cadence where the chant would still fit...but it seems like they have to rotate it in with everything else and can't play it exclusively in the red zone. I would love nothing more than to "stick it [in]" to Weaver in any means possible, since he does have our collective balls in a vice grip. Power to you guys...I'm sure y'all will have the support of many of the MVs who wish they could do something.
And extra points for trying to bring back Na Na Hey Hey...it's ridiculous the things that Weaver cut under the umbrella of Hokies Respect...
That would be great, but I haven't seen anything to make me think we can win the Coastal. In fact, I'm not sure who we can beat as even Duke, BC, and UVa will be scrappy games. I'm afraid the holes in on the back end of the D and Logan's MIA are just too big to overcome this year. It's going to be a humbling year.
