I really hate picking the eeers, but gotta go w/WVU covering.
Going w/the Canes to cover, but this is the I-Don't-Know-Why pick of the week.
I think Cincy gets the points, but Hokies win a close one.
MSU wins and covers.
UGA makes Smokey his b_tch, wins and covers.
Cowboys win outright in a close one at home

- Dub Vee You
- State - considering this a hangover game for U from last week's win. Also Considering the Noon Kick in Miami. I feel sleeping just thinking about it
- VT - breakout game (even though we suck in FedEx). Cincy only playing two games at this point of the season will hurt their momentum.
- OH-IO - Flipped a coin on this one. Heads won. Picked Ohio State.
- Tenn - gross...
- Okie State - took into consideration the home game/night kick off to give Okie the bump.

...3/4 of them will be Hokies. That makes it sound like we upheld our end of the bargain fairly well, selling 30,000 tix. Cincy, not so much.

Secret matchup I'll be watching: Ryan Malleck vs. Cincy's LB'ers. From the few data points I have (Orange Bowl, videos of Cincy's Joker defense), it looks to me like the middle of the field is open. Could this be the game where Malleck ends up with 5 catches for 72 yards and a score?

12 earlier this week 11.5 now, I made the decision this year to only do x.5 spreads for tallying reasons. this & VT game I added, others I subtracted.

if you have the opportunity to go this game, GO. tough it out! ok, the parking sucks, SUck it up!! score those cheap seats!

Realize that during the offseason ALL WE CAN THINK ABOUT is FOOTBALL! Don't take that for granted! A lot of you have lost faith because of Pitt. Just sack up, buy your ticket, and go!! You not being there is one less voice for the Hokies!

/lame rant over

West VA -12.5 --- (where'd you get this line? I've only seen it at 10.5 and 11)
Miami -2.5
Cincy +7.5 --- that hook scares me
Ohio St. +3.5
Georgia -13.5 --- Georgia is the real deal
Texas -2.5

We're supposed to attack their defense one way, and a third way, but theres no second way...the less confusion for Steinspringer the better!

And for the record, Gingers are never immortal.

Last time I posted two pictures mocking a Big East opponent, we lost to Pitt. Hence, I'm recusing myself from this lovely Primer. As always, great work D-dub-dub!

Four of the five were on O linemen. Painter, Arkema, Becton, and Benedict. The whole line seemed jumpy to me, but maybe jumpy in a good way. Lots of aggressiveness on display against BG.

I thought Davis dropped 4 catchable balls, although he got bailed out by two pass interference calls. The two screens were inexcusable. This offense also requires good blocking from the WR's (or at least being plausible when faking a pass route on a running play.) Dyrell was more engaged in the passing game this week, but he still seems allergic to contact. For all the praise heaped on Corey Fuller, he still isn't a good blocker. That is a big reason the screen game isn't as effective so far.
