from theSabre.com's message board, the #newhoos do not understand how recruiting really works. If they ever do become a football school, then they'll probably learn. If that ever happens, then maybe it would be worth it to argue which football school is better. Until then, 38-0, bro.

VT got a good haul on Saturday, but they got some work to do to get the elite talent they need to compliment the 2012 signing class. Let's hope Shane, Gray and Stinespring can get it done.

I was in the Burg this weekend, and it was a good time despite the weather. Ed Wang inhabited the same area of TOTS both nights.

The Hokies' family connection is so deep that we've started pulling legacy recruits from OTHER schools. Are you reading this, Kendall Fuller? Come home, already.

It has been enjoyable reading The Sabre's post on how today's recruits weren't a big deal. Said they weren't worried about not getting Bucky since they have an SEC recruited QB.

As soon as I dry out all the way I am going to laugh some more. We had more people standing out in the rain trying to watch our game today than UVA had at the last 10 spring games in Cville. Anyone heard any updates on commitments? I really like the kids we got today, they are some really solid pick-ups..

on the sabre are laughing because the game was canceled ...

never you mind that VT got 6 recruits so far today and 5 with uva offers that were ALL heavily recruited by london. one of the 6, had a brother who played for london and he and his family said thanks, but not thanks.

keep laughing, but all their #newhoos are going to become hokies.*

* save bayside and varina kids, forced to cville against their will.

For those that follow me on twitter, I did wind up in Merryman with a ton of other recruits. Walked by Bucky, he is huge. Had to do a double take, thought it was Logan. If only Fuller would commit.

There was only a limited amount of film on him, but he looked good. Meanwhile, back a the ranch, Teller mashed everyone, on every play, regardless of what position he played. He has to have 3-foot reach, no DE could lock up with him at tackle. Look like good times in the Burg.

either og or ot. however last year when mike london's very own norfolk christian played lca, pfaff and co. absolutely owned hoos "big get" de courtnye wynn. pretty sure pfaff matched up on him most of that long day. haha.

i am tight with him.

he hasn't told me the names. i won't drop any they become public, if i do find out behind a paywall.

he is currently dry in a box, hanging out.

With Pfaff and Osterloh on board, I would say that all we need to make this class a roaring success is Kuller and Hodges. Anyone else would just be icing on the cake.

I am up for that. I can live blog it since I will be stuck in a class that was rescheduled to today. Ruined my plans on being in Blacksburg.

Hope Bucky commits, Fuller aswell. I'm not banking on Fuller though. I'd say Bucky's chances are greater than Fullers.

My brain thinks Rob Van Dam and can't understand how he factors in to the defense.

Reading the tea leaves, not sure what's going to happen with Nick Dew. When G-W and Tweedy were both injured he got a limited number of snaps last fall, Bud opted to play Nickel/push Fuller to Whip. Now he's 4th string Whip. I bet the coaches like everyone else were a bit surprised with how well RVD had played this spring, he's a bigger boy now, that initiated the move, but they have to be thrilled with the result.
