The site lists Coale as a receiver, but at this point, I wouldn't put it past any team to take a look at him as a punter, too. Versatility has to help draft stock for a mid-rounder.

Me and all of my buddies said the exact same thing. After seeing how the officials handled that Gronkowski catch (correctly) I almost lost it. I nearly let my anger towards that Pac 12 refs ruin my night again. I bet Danny will lose sleep over that call for the rest of his life.
Did anyone else vomit during the Patriots/Broncos game after the Gronkowski catch was comfirmed to be a TD catch by the replay booth?
I bet Danny Coale did, if he was watching.

In a text message, Deloatch said he was in Blacksburg today and plans to visit Temple next weekend. The Owls, Cincinnati and Marshall have offered scholarships, but the Hokies have stepped up their interest of late.
After deciding not to play basketball, Deloatch returned to the team and gave a strong performance off the bench Friday night. His rebounding and defense against Kecoughtan's Rodney Bullock were factors in the Phantoms' win.
“He did an excellent job on defense against Rajay," Phoebus coach James Daniel said. "Just that winning mentality he brings from football, I think that’s tremendous for us."

well with the 4 leaving early..that will help out. and rumors are floating around that maybe a couple others are not going to return next year as well (don't worry..not in the 2 deep) and yes..we are recruiting these last 3 hard...the coaches went and visited ekanem in the hospital after his surgery (nd has kinda backed off..using him as a plan b. also..the coach that recruited him for nd has moved on to massachusets) i feel confident that we will close strong this year with the big 3. and hopefully we can snag deloatch as well. id think we'd be a better choice than temple..but we shall see. hopefully the visit went well.
yeah -- he's visiting tn this weekend .. but being so quick to flip-flop between tn and md for the visit, i'd have to say that neither are probably where he'll go .. i'm sure we're recruiting him harder than bama .. that's gotta count for something .. i'm sure we're recruiting all 3 of these studs harder than our counterparts .. maybe that'll be the difference. this is a big class .. do we have room for all of these guys or will shane/cav get 'creative' if they have to .. sec style ??
romond is actually eligible. he will be visiting next week. it's between us and temple. and i'm not to worried about kirven to tn...i still say we are in good shape for the 3 big ones..

since vt has been in, only 2 teams a year with some filler. the acc gets less teams in the dance now than then when the conference was 9 teams. thank md, state and gt for that.
most people who do good deeds like that don't do them for the recognition. they do them because they are good people. and things like this...just don't sell when it comes to news....unfortunately.
Yea they drubbed CLUMPSON but they lost badly to the 'Cuse and Louisville. They're too hit or miss. Honorable mentions? I wouldnt sleep on GT either.
I still contend for every story of off-the-field bs there is out there, there are at least two stories like this which go largely unnoticed (sometimes because lack of interest from a paper and others because the person doing the good deed just doesn't want the extra attention).

I didn't participate because I thought I didn't ever pick and didn't want to jump in mid-season. I must have been drunk when I posted.
Never to have won the National Championship is probably the best tag on us right now. Although there may be some arguments for other programs.
We have only played for it once and pre-BCS were never in any consideration for the title. But we are so much closer than so many programs it will only be a matter of time.
If they are back to back home games won't lose the travel time.
I say if we play 5 days later to let the second string guys get some reps and still be up by at least 20. This team is bad bad bad.
