His teams tend to play real stupid in wins, too.
The recent UVa game, we had multiple times where they just did something completely braindead to keep the Hoos in it. You have to have the little things cleaned up in the ACC and we consistently don't.
So Mines and Moore got pay bumps. Any sense for how these salaries compare to the former salaries of the others? I am not sure what I was expecting, but this all seems incredibly reasonable.
Oh thank you, Little Bobby!
French if you're reading, just caught you on Sons of Saturday. As it looks right now, if we can't protect Grunk in the pocket, is there another QB in the room that can escape or keep on an option, that also fits the scheme?
GM and exactly. So, I slept on it and I'm still asking the same question...how did we lose that f-ing game?
I liked those too, but we would have won a championship if we had Cam, we were better than the rest of those auburn teams hands down. they had one DT and a bunch of nothing. So uniforms matter!
Also he went to UF so ... maybe the orange sleeve sold him
Doesn't kylar murray mske like $55m? I think Reid is the highest paid NFL coach at like $22m. But coaching pay drops of quick after the top 2-4 coaches.
James Franklin makes more than like 20 NFL coaches too.
Those position coach salaries are in line with NFL pay too. However, our OC is woefully low for both college and pros. Coordinator is the one place that the NFL is really better pay than college.
It definitely seems he's setting up for 2027 and 2028 more so than for 2026. Seems like a good plan to establish his culture, identify personnel weaknesses in 2026, and win championships in the beyond.
Yeah, too many games like this in the CMY era. Though this one was worse than several
Where are the details of these bonuses? Haven't seen this info.
Important to note there are recruiting bonuses for coaches who bring in high-level talent, something I didn't see previous coaches do.
Losing like this hurts so much more than losing by 20. Just inexcusable
oh wow, I saw this clip too but I thought it was from years ago
Didn't realize he got that many snaps.
I think he was in Tyrod's class coming out of HS?
Bitter: Assistant Pay
The importance of punctuation (that colon makes all the difference in this lede....) lol
Colandrea to Nebraska after they missed on Minchey.
I think it is safe to say that our QB1 will make more than every coach other than JF.
I will say that I find some comfort in knowing that we are putting the appropriate value on a novice OC and not paying him 7 figures to see if he can be successful.
Couldn't agree with you more. Looking at Hammond's stats the last four games shows he's consistent. You want him leading the O in crunch time for sure. Look at his FT%. With the copious amount of minutes in double bonus, Hammond should have been the offensive focus. He should get more time running our O when Neo is on the floor. If Hammond gets into foul trouble, Bedford can back him up and Neo can shift to PG as well.
But, I have to say it again, I still can't believe we lost that game
I also like the foundation we seem to be building. My concern right now is that most of our additions are young. This is concerning for next year's two-deep, but if it works out and we can be successful with a team full of young players, then the future looks bright (assuming we can hang on to them).
Same as in every other sport. It's harder to replace players than coaches.
Also, I take a lot of NIL numbers reported with a big grain of salt.
That was just horrendous. There's really not much more to say
Actually shot 75% from the line but understand the thought. Missed them when it mattered.
According to the team web site, Lynch logged 683 snaps and only allowed two sacks. Welcome back big fella.

Or implementations that are nothing now than lip service when actual practices don't change. I don't care what you call it, if you're still micromanaging the shit out of your employees and teams to make sure that middle management is still calling all the shots rather than having them specialize in making sure the teams can do the jobs, then you're still going to have all the same issues you had before, just with more meetings that piss everyone off.
