The oline will look much better if we can actually complete short / quick passes...
Alabama commits probably get a car *and* a driver. They have to differentiate themselves to maintain that "it just means more"
No. Just....no.
Makes me nervous for sure. But from Kolby Korner he says don't worry
I try to say it as often as possible, but I am thankful for the work you do here, French. I started this pod when I got to work this morning without reading the description, and I was stoked to realize you were on it to breakdown the incoming transfers. Shoutout to the 2Deep boizs as well.
I feel like the existing O-line has more potential than they showed. They proved they could run block and I think pass pro could look much better with:
-another offseason of development
-something to play for/motivation
-a qb with better pocket presence
I feel like Drones abandoned the pocket even when he had good protection and never slid up, he only slid sideways. Not totally his fault as he probably lost faith that the O-line could hold a pocket.
Hoping we DON'T have any 'bitter assistant' coaches before even spring practices start.... /s but not really...
(hoping we got rid of any we might have had...along with any bitter players)
It was funny though, they unravelled them from the rubber bands and held them up like "wtf is this" so we had to tell em, "It's bacon!"
two of them were even "gifted" Smithfield bacon sweat pants
Sounds like a recruiting violation if I've ever heard of one
Yes.
No worries, my buddy and I sat behind them, their parents, and Coach Franklin and Pry. We chatted them up pretty good and two of them were even "gifted" Smithfield bacon sweat pants by the nice cheerleaders during the Bacon Toss. So, I'm sure they'll commit any minute now.
Avdalas has done the exact same thing in multiple games now. Step back 3s and faders. It was especially brutal to watch last night with the lack of defensive effort on one end and then the lack of clock control and shooting contested jumpers while the other team is in the Bonus+ on the other. Every offensive possession should have been using as much clock as possible and then attacking the rim. You need to be looking for contact because it guarantees two foul shots no matter what. Attack the rim and you either get fouled on the way in (go to the line for two), fouled while taking the shot (go to the line for two or the and one). And if neither of those happen you ate up half a minute off the clock and they have to move the ball the full length of the court to get into their offense. It appears this team lacks discipline and basketball IQ at the most basic levels, which is squarely on MY's shoulders.
Glad he's back. Looks like he'll really be Aidan the team with his presence on the field.

OK, I like that one better.
Oregon???

These numbers seem very reasonable, and it keeps the door open to splash on a bigger name coordinator down the road if deemed necessary.
Seriously, doesn't it work both ways?
Pics, or it didn't happen!
Do we in fact have Grunk 'in the pocket'? Seems to be a lot of question about whether he has officially signed or not.
Came here for the titters, leaving disappointed.
if a starter gets injured the first play, do they still get starter money? how would the backup feel about getting backup money when they play 60 snaps in a game.
I don't really see this as a big issue if they can figure out a way to make the contracts enforceable (paging Demond Williams). People sign contracts all the time that are inequitable and do the same job. Anecdotally, I work in the medical field, and medical assistants and nurses do the same jobs for differing pay, similar to Nurse Practitioners and MDs. Same job, wildly different salaries. I think if you sign an enforceable contract (which again seems like a big issue) then you play it out.
Whether or not Neo is at VT next year, what I have seen this season so far, leads me to believe he will still be playing college ball, not jumping to the NBA
I'm certainly not a lawyer but have more experience with DUI restrictions than I'd like. If your license is suspended in one state its suspended everywhere it's updated in the NDR and you wouldn't be able to get a license in another state until its reinstated in the state that it was revokes or suspended afaik

Man, you guys make me so happy I was a fishing guide, in business for myself and happy with not running employees or chasing big money. More power to ya, but I'll take the slow lane and get to where we're all going just the same.
