With everything we have going in football right now we might just have to live with CMY for a bit until we start reaping the benefits of that investment, at which point we can dump some more money into basketball as well
I wonder if Alum's serial downvoter has returned after The Great TKP Re-Opening...
edit: damn missed it by that much
My stalker is back, apparently
Not sure if it was inadvertent or not but I saw someone downvoted your post so I upvoted to counter it as I saw no valid reason for it to be downvoted...
There's really only one license plate for that car as well:

Honestly in closing out I would prefer we have Pasha, Bedford and Hammond on floor with Lawal and Hansberry. Sit Schutt and Avdalas. Only reason to maybe have Schutt is free throws as he is #2 on team. Those are the best ball handlers on our roster that can drive to the rim. Create contact but possibly score too. Hammond is shooting 84% from the line. He is 6% better than Schutt and 10% better than Lawal. Those are the only three shooting better than 70%.
I also wonder if it's assuming that more money will be raised in the future?
Former Virginia Tech "standout" linebacker? I wouldn't necessarily categorize his production as such, but the writing has to fit if he goes to Alabama.
Yeah Said the same thing on Titter last night.
Football has RUN THE DAMN BALL
Basketball last night only had to
HOLD THE DAMN BALL. We could have taken two shot clock violations in final three minutes and we win. Instead we got shots with 21 and 19 seconds remaining on shot clocks. You dont do that unless they its a gimme layup.
Even as a 3 star out of HS, this kid had offers from Michigan, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas A&M among a bunch of other SEC/BIG/ACC/Big12 schools. Must be some raw talent there to mold.
It was a pleasant surprise to hear who the guest was when I hit play this morning on the way to work. Thanks to French and the TwoDeep guys for all you do.
In a society where everyone's obsessed with dropping lbs, I live in a world where gaining LBs is a good thing.
Happy about this development, for sure. Welcome aboard.
Thanks once again to French for being an awesome guest! We really appreciate his insight. Hitting the Hilson stuff right off the top was so fun. Very excited for his potential.
Let's hope we get Grunk in the boat here soon!
Needed this.
He is listed as the #15 LB in the portal, but other than this I have no idea on how good of a pickup this is. Last year he had 28 tackles on 214 snaps. This seems fairly productive considering an average snap count of 70 per game, which would equate to just under 10 tackles a game. Curious to see what others think of his film and abilities.

Definitely like getting more LBs in
Hah, yeah I took a different path. I actually got so fed up with how awful the model has been corrupted at some companies that after being laid off I pivoted toward being a transformation lead to bring some sanity back into it all. I just finished up with converting over a smaller company late last year and am currently in negotiations (well, not really negotiating, waiting for them to finalize the budget so we can make it official) to come on full time to head up their agile delivery model.
I could go into it for hours, but the market has completely lost the plot on what they should be doing. I hate how the industry turned Scrum Masters into mindless cheerleading drones who care more about keeping things fun than actually helping the teams get more streamlined and efficient. I know that's not the case everywhere, but it exists often enough the entire SM job market is completely cooked and finding someone who actually knows their stuff is like a needle in a haystack.
This is where I'm at. We seem to have better players, but the same team. The same issues show up year after year regardless of talent level. At some point, you have to look at the common denominator. I'm not advocating for him to go, but there's clearly something the players either aren't getting or aren't responding to.
Running the shot clock down to 5-7 seconds and attacking the rim was a guaranteed victory and we didn't do any of that. That is a coaching issue.
Agreed. His game is definitely not NBA ready at this point. He has to be able to overcome the mentality about being physical in the paint on both ends or he wont make it in the NBA. I can understand why its difficult because it basically goes against everything he has been coached all his life.
I dont understand Mike Young relying on him in those situations though. To me its more a coach issue than player issue. Hammond has shown he is fearless in the paint. Bedford has as well and even Pasha is better in thst regard. Would rather of had that trio to close out the game rather than Neo and Schutt.
I got laid off after leading a few projects that made one of the most evil companies in world $40 million - way above my pay grade, I feel your pain. Found a more chill gig though, which is a win since this job market is wild right now
It was Kamauryn Morgan. A 4 star edge rusher from Baylor. Another one with multiple years of eligibility.

Lol imagine not being able to come here for a couple years, finally having the doors open back to you, and this is the first thing you do
Kinda proud, honestly, that I was able to piss off someone to THAT extent
