This year there was only one game on August 23rd and it was in the morning because it was in Ireland. Put this game as a 5pm kick so you get the pageantry in the sun but recruits also see Lane at night.
No big deal. Appreciate the post. I grew up over that way so I'm real familiar with that small little school. Most of my high school went to college there. I took some surveying classes there after I graduated from Tech.

Texas A&M to hire Cornelson? Was this meant to be on the Dad Jokes thread? Seriously? Did he greatly improve at wherever he was after VT, because I can't imagine anyone beyond a mid-level high school seriously wanting him.

Did they have more players reinjure themselves? We'll never see anything like that but its hard to tell what really happened without data.
However once you take swings at an ex coach and tell everyone the coach still their is okay then you lost all credibility.
With the new ACC revenue sharing model why would we drop the JMU game that would certainly get better TV coverage? VMI will be lucky to be on ACCN.

Still, as a complete rebuild year, VT probably needs a pretty easy tune-up game to pull it together.
I'm hoping you're right that VT will have it together, but VT certainly struggled this year.
Edit: I just looked at VMI's record. Oooof. Yeah, maybe you're right. Worse than I realized. VT could probably find another opponent.
