NFL 53 man rosters VT players/CFL/arena

Going to try and update this with players who make 53 man roster, practice squads and who gets cut. Also if someone wants to add CFL and arena league guys that would be great. Like to follow Hokies around, I'm sure I'm not the only one.
*current from NFL.com as of 11/18/14
Andre Smith - injured reserve Cleveland
James Anderson - signed to Cowboys 12/30/14 after being cut by Falcons on 12/24/14
Nick Becton - Signed to Saints roster from Giants practice squad
Jarrett Boykin - made 53 man roster in Green Bay
Duane Brown - made 53 man roster of Houston
Roc Carmichael - Released AGAIN by Eagles 12/8
Kam Chancellor - made 53 man roster of Seattle

loluva

soooooo according to loluva fans the reason they ran the ball on 3rd and 10 was because "the quarterback misread the play number on his arm band". What was it one of the coaches said over the offseason about UVA? I believe it was just "they find a way to lose" god I wish I could have watched that game.

Please don't be this person

Seen in the North Endzone during the 4th quarter. You can't wear the shirt and then spend the game on your phone.

RB Rotation - Not too early for a controversy.

Once again, the caveat: There is no better team-player thant JCC. Unfortunately, the depth chart for successful teams must reflect the order of productivity.

I was all in for JC Coleman to break through. Finally 100%, I wanted to see him excel.

I'm not sure how you could defend keeping him as your starter with this:

This is apples to apples.

Shai and Juice were running with the ones, against the ones, just like JC.

They were able to move the pile, make guys miss, and find the holes (especially Shai), that JC just didn't.

For those who need it: Watch VT vs. W&M live online @ 4pm...

Two ways to watch. I would recommend watching via WatchESPN as it will provide the best quality.

1) Go to WatchESPN.com
2) Click on Remote Access
3) It will ask you for your provider. Select Xfinity/Comcast
4) It should then take you to the Comcast login screen. Enter the following:
Username: VTFootball2014 Password: Hokie4lifE
(password is case-sensitive)
5) Once you click ok/sign-in, you should be redirected back to the WatchESPN website where you should now have access to the game. All you need to do is find it and click on it. Enjoy!

Skipper 3-2-1

From Hokiesports web site:

Skipper 3-2-1
To signify the start of Hokie Village, Skipper will fire 3.5 hours prior to kickoff. Additionally, Skipper will fire when the stadium gates open (2 hours prior to kickoff) and with one hour remaining until kickoff.

That is awesome - our tailgate does a shot of soco right before heading to the stadium - we can now usher that in with an announcement by Skipper!

Oh Skipper!

Great idea for young fans.

OSU tonight is hosting a movie night in the Shoe, showing Frozen on the jumbo scoreboard. Seems like a great way to engage younger fans and raise some money for school charities.

On the eve of battle/game day

I can't wait for this season to start! I'll get to see us play at the shoe and at unc. By all accounts it should be an exciting season. But unfortunately a short one for me. At a date after the unc game I'll leave the country for one more trip to a rough country with rough mountains. Not WV... So as our team and hokie nation prepares for the season and I prepare as well, this is always at the forefront of my mind. Why we fight:

What does being a Hokie mean to you

We cross several generations here. We are different colors, gender, nationalities, occupations. Yet, we all bleed only Hokie colors when discussing what Va Tech means to us. Reading this board the biggest thing that comes out is the obvious love and respect we share for what being a Hokie means. As we prepare for opening kickoff, please share what being a Hokie means to you.

Week 1 Viewing Guide

Last night we got off to a strong start to the CFB season. Some may say that the season actually started Wednesday night, but here is official proof that it was actually Thursday:

ALL HAIL THE RETURN OF ALLCAPS!

OT: Free Concert & Pep Rally tonight in Downtown Blacksburg

Didn't see this posted and thought some fellow Key Players may be interested. There will be a free Pep Rally for the William & Mary game starting at 6 pm on College Avenue (which will be closed off).

Once the Pep Rally ends there will be music from DJ TMMPO, The Band Concord (a great Blacksburg Americana band) and California Top-100 hip hop artist Sage the Gemini. There's also supposed to free food, giveaways and more.

All are welcome to attend.
