So it begins!!!
Didn't want this monumental landmark moment to be lost in the void of the FAM thread...
With last night's game, the official cross divisional rivalry between VT and BC has come to an end with VT holding a 12-8 edge in ACC play including 2 head to head conference title games.
May the series rest in piss
F Matt Ryan
We FAMing tonight, we deserve it. The defense is damn near elite, and is truly fun to watch...on to the next one! FAM!
Didn't see one yet so got it started, there are some interesting matchups today.
Looking forward to UK/Florida and Tenn/Pitt.
Texas is gonna get run by Bama, but the head referee looks like he could make a tackle or ten.
Ohio State NIL collective, The Foundation, unveils plans to launch Florida chapter
Plans are in place for a Florida chapter of the collective, with the hope of having an annual fundraiser in the Miami area. Some of the top talent in the country resides in Broward and Miami-Dade counties, a place where Ohio State fans also love to flock to in the wintertime. That should be a win-win for The Foundation.

"A tight-knit circle of athletic director friends...... with ideas of how to reshape college athletics.
Back in the day, the think tank of emerging thinkers consisted of seven current ADs and power brokers: Del Conte (Texas), Greg Byrne (Alabama), Scott Stricklin (Florida), Ross Bjork (Texas A&M), Whit Babcock (Virginia Tech), John Currie (Wake Forest) and Greg McGarity (Gator Bowl CEO). Others circulated in and out, but that only added to their vision of the future."
Pry says Tisdale has a week to week eligibility issue that is being worked on. Is on scout team past week. Blumrick was told by coach to wait until Weekend to say anything about incident. He will have team practice Sunday win or lose to move on to next game.
We restarted our season tickets this year and have decided to start bringing kids one at a time up for their first regular season games. Any advice for Gameday with kids under 12? Where to take them around campus or town. Anything they would really enjoy seeing or doing? During the game any advice to keep them engaged better? Thanks y'all.
This should be grounds to cancel the series in my book. How is there no security for the visiting team? Bush league shit.

What's the best thing to do after a back breaking loss? Take out your anger on the next guy!
Jeff Hafley thinks that pass interference calls should apply to balls that are a mile out of bounds.
Jeff Hafley thinks that the ODU stadium is state of the art.
In the midst of last night's disappointment, there have been a lot of comments (here, on twitter, etc) that say something to the effect of "Shane Beamer and Mel Tucker won in year 1, why can't we?"
I wanted to take a look at some recent hires, and see if coaches (a) actually are turning programs around quickly, and (b) how bare the cupboard is when they arrive. For each coach, I listed:
Well, this is sure going to be a massive rebuild, but damn that is a crushing loss and one that you just can't take.
I have to say, I really like Pry, but recruiting in year one has been very uninspiring (granted, I don't follow it too closely) and less than ideal when you consider what other coaches in year one have done.
The Goods: King, Hollifield, The defense as a whole, Gallo.
The Bads: Effing Reffing
The Ugly: INTs, the FG attempt that wasn't, the penalties (although I will give them some slack, there, as a young team, and sometimes (Syracuse in '98) where the penalty is beneficial).
Hour and a half to game time and no one has started a game thread? I FEEL LIKE IM TAKING CRAZY PILLS!.
LETS FUCKING GO!

One of the main drivers of this College Football Playoff expansion was money. Presidents felt as if they were leaving too much on the table. Monday could end up a powerful motivator for starting prior to 2026.โ Pete Thamel (@PeteThamel) September 2, 2022
A lot of Junkies/Hokies content this week, they had on Bill Roth this morning.
Jason trashed Fuente a few times, which is nice coming from a broadcaster, and Roth talked up the game with ODU.
24 hours to kickoff...
