hell, if he reinstates Stick it in, I'll put the fathead above my bed.

So, I guess the moral of the story here is this:
You can generally get away with saying something somewhat sexist/rude/homophobic on the keyplay and survive to post another day. Some'll downvote you for it, it might start a heated discussion, but by and large, you'll be fine. But don't you dare talk smack about the Hokie bird, turkey legs, or anything to that nature, because shit will get real.

Mike London's chauffeur was hired after the coach was shown to have significant trouble understanding how starting and stopping things worked. This weakness caused several traffic light and stop sign related accidents before the school finally took action.

Also, is he just watching the games now? Wasn't he releasing rankings during the season? Or is this just so he can claim to have watched "tons of tape" later?

Todd McShay is a complete buffoon. I hold his opinion on anything with about the same amount of respect as I have for other people's farts. The guy makes crap up (Jayron Hoesly having "short arms" for instance), knowing that not enough people know enough about the subject to call him on it. He's like the catholic priests during the middle ages who didn't speak latin, so just made up gibberish during mass.

I think that's dangerous. You're talking about 16 year olds, who can easily get caught up in the moment. I'd stink for coaches to push for guys to sign at the end of any kind of visit. A kid could get locked into a crappy school during his junior year, before he's really even had a chance to figure out what he actually wants to go to school for, or look around at other schools, simply because his first visit was a lot of fun and he got swept up in it. I think we need to look to protect children/young adults who are making very difficult decisions, not make it easier for fans to follow recruiting.

Spring game is for more than just showing off your team - it's potentially a major recruiting day. It's a chance to show prospects how awesome your fanbase is. The only reason to cancel one is if you feel like your fanbase is not, in fact, awesome and that showing recruits an empty stadium would do more harm than good.

haha, scaled down already. It was massive before.

I got Tyrod, Kam and DmfW to sign a ball for me, and have a photo with them. It was one of the bookstore sessions a year or so ago at the spring game.

wow, that photo was way bigger than I thought... I'm going to try and scale it down... my bad.

I feel more like the transfer is a potential stop-gap while the freshmen get up to gamespeed. I wouldn't say he knows they aren't NFL caliber, it's just that he knows that starting any true freshmen, regardless of their talent, is taking a big risk. QBs are sometimes like fine wines or nice stouts - better when aged a bit.

The idea that these clocks are accurate to the hundredth of a second is pretty ludicrous anyway, so I wouldn't sweat it. The difference between 4.35 and 4.40 is so miniscule as to be irrlevant, and everyone acts like one guy is a burner and the other just average. My guess is it's all in the measurment noise anyhow.
