Same reason Todd McShay wasaying Jayron had short arms a few years back - these guys have no idea what they're talking about. They're just filling air with blather and assuming the audience doesn't know enough about it to correct them.

Page hits. Polls drive page hits, that's really all it is.

I heard he once held an opponents wife's hand... in a jar of acid... at a birthday party

oh crap, I did, didn't I? I'm going to have to say something wildly inflammatory, lose some legs, then go back over again to celebrate properly.

How does he look when the pocket is breaking down? It looked like the other team was only bringing 2 guys on some of those blitzes, and he had all day back there. Do his fundamentals break down with a pass-rusher bearing down on him, or does either he step through the throw and take the hit or slide in the pocket?

I liked the matte helmets with the fighting gobbler better, but whatever.

When you gaze long into an abyss, it picks you off and makes you look like an ass

I mean, yeah it's cool that we used that to our advantage, I just think it's a dumb rule. Why not make everyone go once?

The Olympic rules are so dumb. Why can you keep trotting the same guys back out? Such a dumb change

The idea that the NFL is tax-empt anyway is completely rediculous. They make billions of dollars every year, in mammoth stadiums that the tax-payers pay for, and in which they over-charge us for everything and keep all the profits. Why should these guys be tax-exempt?

For the record, I am a redskins fan, and feel like the name should be changed. It's not going to impact how I root for the team, and the name is obviously in poor taste. Imagine if someone tried to start a team today with that name - they'd be boo-ed out of the league. Just please please please make it better than the Wizards.

Sounds sorta like Vince Hall - total stud in college, but just not quite what they're looking for in the pros. Still really hope someone finds a spot for him. If he slips down the draft, someone could end up with a stud who can rush the passer for cheap.

Mines probably Macho Harris - I was a student while he was here, and there were so many times where there were games that were just painfully close until he got some incredible pick to just save the day. Especially in 2007, when Flowers had left, and he came back for his senior year. He was one of the only play-makers, and it seemed like he always made one when we needed it.

I know he's not the best defender that ever came through here, but he might be my favorite.

Others that got serious consideration - Kyle Fuller, Cody Grimm, Adibi/Hall

maybe try the word "immature" - it's got the double threat of actually meaning what you are trying to say, and not risking you sounding even remotely homophobic

Tyrod/Glennon for two years - heck we even rotated them for a while one year.

I expect someone other than Leal to start, honestly. One of the talented freshmen, someone like Bucky, who's been here a while and is kind of a sleeper... not a clue. I just think one of them will beat Leal out.

I understand what you're saying, but my point is that just making it the finish line with this class is a win. No news is good news. Only one of our commits (Harrison) was poached, and we made up for him by flipping another guy at the same position (Ford). With a class this talented, I call that a win, regardless of what happened with the uncommitteds.
