So, do we take comfort in assuming we don't play dirty re: bagmen or should we be upset that we're playing the game, but our bags are too light?
Illinois takes our coach, we take their player...
Hoping for a surprise, but if we just got plugged into the top 4 after UF dropped off, I'd guess it's a top 3 + us
Appreciate the dig. Given that a fairly large chunk of the fan-base was ready to move on from Frank prior to his retirement during those years you mention, despite him being the architect of modern VT football, and all the goodwill that comes with it, then the desire from a growing number of fans to move on from Fuente seems 100% justified.
Mike Young is only 58, a little early to crown a HCIW
Just saw what I can only assume was your tweet about this, and was coming to relay the info, lol
Well, that certainly hits the entire gambit of transfer self-justification
Ah yes, I remember it like it was yesterday
Well, that's fun
Trust me, I am due no amount of respect
Maybe military out of high school and came to college and played afterwards? I dunno
I disagree with your take. Let's argue.

Who names their team the "Linemen"?

The issues are systemic and the only way to really fix it moving forward is to clean house and start fresh.
Might be the simplest fix, lol
I know it is strictly hypothetical, but if all else remained the same, but the Liberty game was the last regular season game, and they were coming into Lane at 9-1, likely ranked, and we were coming in 5-5...I wonder what the spread woulda been...definitely not 17 point favorites
Hooker, Hazelton, Cunningham, Hill, etc
generate buzz
I really doubt he's coming back just to be an assistant, and I don't think I'd want that anyways

My feelings through this offseason:

In order for our WRs to "blow up", first I think we'll need to see some QB development, since we haven't seen basically any QB development over these G5 years, I think that is a hard ask.
Unless of course, by "blow up", you mean we have 7-8 WRs who can pop off a 10 yard jet sweep at any given moment
Curious, are there any 24-28 year old receivers still on campus that have retired with eligibility left?
