The silver-lining of the Liberty game is the apathy. For the first time since I enrolled at VT in 2001, the football team lost....lost to #9 Miami, when we had a double digit lead, at home....and I wasn't angry about it, I was a little disappointed about it when the clock hit 0:00, sure....but when you expect the outcome, it doesn't sting as bad. Continued on with my day and haven't looked back.
Yeah, I'll still watch the next few game to close out the season, but for the first time, I just don't give a fuck what happens.

Personally, I think the guy that announced it just mixed up who the flag was on, and they let it ride to try to make up for blowing it on the early fumble that shoulda been a TD for us.

All I will say is this. Thus far, I feel like I have been pretty patient with Fuente & Co, and given him the benefit of the doubt more often than not, especially this year, dealing with the challenges of covid. My patience has run out. What we saw yesterday was unacceptable for VT football.
