If they have the event, I move that we lock everyone in, and let them ride out their quarantine together.
I'm with you, I enjoyed it quite a bit. Actually just watched it for the 2nd and 3rd times this weekend by mysel....with my 5 year old!
found myself humming the tunes all day
June should be okay, it's these next few weeks I'm more concerned about...I mean shit, it's not even above 60 degrees yet, no reason to come here now!
No, he's transferring from VT not to VT, he gets a waiver
Not ideal, but we'll be okay. He sorta disappeared as ACC play developed.
Averaged 14.8 pts in ACC play, and 11.4 pts over the second half of ACC play
So, Dare County EOC has determined that we are basically doing fuck all.
Declaring a state of emergency, suggesting avoiding crowds of 50 or more, or if you are in one of the "at-risk" groups, avoid crowds greater than 10.
The discussion of closing the bridges was brought up, but it was determined that restaurants' income is more important than our well-being. We are open for business.
I hear they are considering it, but I agree, it's too late. It's been brought over by now. I've got a meeting in 40 minutes with a briefing from the EOC. Will try to report back here any news afterwards.
The dressed out picture above is not A. Allen, thats 5-11, 195lb Khalil Herbert
Dang, if I'd known about this when I was in school, I totally would have tried to get on that practice squad
As a resident of Dare County, I humbly ask that if you have spring break plans to come to the Outer Banks, stay the fuck home.
Is that an additional year for everyone on the roster? That could be pretty beneficial for our basketball team in coming years
moving to Monday/Wednesday/Friday until Spring Break in mid April.
Makes sense, my HVAC guy told me that the virus only infects on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Presser set for 3pm I believe
I've got one at the end of April that I had been looking forward to, no word on it yet

Probably depends on the team
Coaches and staff - Effective immediately 🚨 A temporary dead period is in effect at least until April 15 for all sports. Reasonable measures should be taken to cease all recruiting activities that are impermissible during a dead period (campus visits, contacts and evaluations)— VT Compliance (@VT_Compliance) March 13, 2020

Not quite, Bolsonaro's aide tested positive, but the aide did in fact meet with Trump. As of yesterday, WH maintains that Trump has not been tested. Bolsonaro has been tested, after calling the crisis a fantasy.

Doubtful. This was like a day or two before he got confirmed, right?
I grew up the youngest of 3, I'm just speaking from the parenting side, 1 is plenty to run me ragged, lol.
see on her face and sometimes hear the actual "wow" when she learned something.
My boy is in kindergarten now, and hearing him tell me all the shit he learns at school each day is awesome, you can literally see them growing in front you
For sure, and I'm definitely not knocking anyone who wants, or has more than one.
I just see how our lives are, one boy, almost 6, and I just couldn't imagine having another one, I'm eternally exhausted and broke as it is!
Excellent article. This chart is striking.

I have 1 kid. I have no idea why anyone would want more than 1 kid.

But those people at the beach also have to go to the grocery stores, using resources that residents could really need (and spreading their germs from whatever potentially coronavirus infested town they've have come from), eat at all of the restaurants (most here are relatively small, definitely more than 50 people in them, packed in tight), etc.
Not only that, our full time residents are largely made up of retirees...u know those most at risk (7,800 folks over the age of 65 in Dare County [21.4% of the population], with one small hospital that has no ICU and 1 temporary ventilator)
I'm assuming it's already here, but I wish we would have closed our bridges a week ago.
