The loss was discouraging when we had so many opportunities to put it away after clawing back from a double digit deficit. However, I am still high on this team. Maybe not for this year, but we were playing beyond our years early on, and have seemingly come back to earth.
We're sitting at 15-11, 6-9 in conference, with a new coach, only playing 3 guys who clocked minutes last year making up 2 jr's and a soph. Everyone else is a freshman or redshirt freshman, including two (I think) who should be in their senior year of high school right now (Cone and Alleyne).
If this group sticks together, we'll be something special in a year or two.

One thing is for damn sure, Tyrece Mothafuckin' Radford has cemented himself as one of my favorite Hokies of all time.

someone wasting their potential seems like an odd thing to celebrate and rejoice in.
they will do such a good job educating the players about pros and cons from here on out that anyone in the portal likely will not be coming back, because they already know they want to leave for sure.
Makes sense when you think about what Fuente said about it being a failure on their part to educate them, just wish Fu coulda worded it better so we didn't this whole shit going on now
So, while the misconstrued statement from Fuente led to a lot of media folks having their bad takes, at least (to my knowledge), we didn't have anyone thinking that they would be receiving a LOI yesterday, only to not have one show up!
