I don't recall that happening when we beat JMU and UVA in 2010.
I agree with you on getting over losses now-a-days. It just doesn't affect me like it did when I was younger.
But, still today, tomorrow, and always, I say Fuck Matt Ryan.
Creating a trophy for a rivalry between 2 teams, or simply claiming you are the best in your state after beating 3 teams from your own state is absolutely different from creating a fake championship title.
There is a national championship, there are conference championship, there are no state championships in college sports.
Edit: I don't know why I feel strongly about this one, lol, I guess it is from living in Carolina and having to deal with more alums from these schools than I care to
Agree to disagree. A rivalry is one thing, claiming the best in the state is one thing, making up some lame Championship within your conference...lame as lame can get
