# | November 2019 Football Recruiting Part 2: Electric Boogaloo Yeah I was gonna make a sarcastic comment about about Dwight McGlothern being ranked 51 in Texas, then after reading your comment wanted to explore that a little. I came across one number that said the average HS football team in Texas is 150 players (haven't confirmed, but looking on Max Preps, I see some Div 1A teams with 25 kids, and some Div 6A teams w/ 190+). Assuming each of the 3,240 high schools field a team, using the average of 150...thats almost half a million HS football players.

I have to believe that this is the only reason Hooker didn't start vs BC
I don't think there should necessarily be some huge difference in thinking about taking hits between HH and QP. Hooker is 6'4" 228lb and QP is 6'4'' 245lb. Granted 17lbs is not insignificant...I don't think there is a difference like "QP is a tank and Hooker needs to avoid getting hit".
