I don't think there is really a good answer. College football and basketball players have always gotten paid, and always will get paid...to take away the NIL or to set a standard salary for all players just pushes the bagmen back to the shadows, with no significant consequences for the teams that get caught

If they really wanted a level playing field, they could set in writing a standard salary for each player, or each position. If you get caught having boosters go beyond that, have a standard minimum penalty...no review, or appeals etc....if a player is caught receiving more than $XXXX, that team is suspended from competition for the following year. Period.

Spent a week at Acadia this past June, tried to avoid Bar Harbor - just too touristy and crowded for my liking- Did eat and drink at Bar Harbor Beerworks one day, good food, great beer selection. We stayed over just outside of Winter Harbor, if you get over that way (Birch Harbor specifically), check out The Pickled Wrinkle. I did stop at one of the lobster pounds on the way out of Acadia one day and got a lobster roll...it was okay, but not worth the $31 it cost.

If you get into Bangor, 2 Feet Brewing had some good beers, but the food left a bit to be desired.

OCMS was the last show I saw before covid shutdowns, Feb 2020 at the norva, and the first show I saw since, a few months ago in Manteo. They always put on a hell of a show.

Last time I was at floydfest was 9 years ago, pretty sure trampled by turtles was there, and killed it

I almost bought tickets to see them in Raleigh, until I saw the ticket prices, shew

Seeing Greensky Bluegrass next weekend down here in the Outer Banks, might check out Murder by Death at the norva in a few weeks

Whoever said this

"The program did real damage to itself keeping Justin Fuente for that extra year. Maybe even the last two."

or this

"It's bleak on offense. Schematically, they were a train wreck in '21. I don't think they have an ACC-caliber QB on the roster. Those guys are average at best. The offensive line was the strength for the offense, and now they're gone."

is probably the same coach that told Whit that our previous offense was "very well thought of", "adaptable", and "hard to prepare for" back in 2020.

Virginia tech is not worth watching unless you're a Hokie fan and maybe they're even less worth watching if you're a Hokie fan. Virginia's worth watching because Brennan Armstrong is one of the most exciting players. Keeton Thompson, one of the most versatile exciting receivers in the country.

Hold up, these players who participate in a multi-billion dollar industry think they deserve a cut? A medical care? It's not like they put their bodies on the line or anything. 95% of them will be millionaires in the NFL anyways, they can afford to buy their own healthcare

the nerve.
