trying to catch a pass at a critical juncture/how do we get the ball to our best players as much as possible (wright, king, Thomas, maybe gallo and lofton?).

We've certainly got a knack for making an average to above average player look like a Heisman candidate
Pretty sure keeping Fuente directly led to HH leaving. He hit the portal 2 days after that bizarre press conference to announce that we were making no changes.
To be fair, neither Hendon Hooker nor Jalen Hyatt would be the players they are today if they had stayed/had come to VT.
If HH stayed, he probably would have been QB2 last year, for... reasons. Had he gotten on, we'd maybe get 1 more win, which maybe would be enough to keep Fu this year.
If HH stayed again and started at VT this year, and we still had CornFu, we maybe get 6 or 7 wins, HH goes undrafted and is out of football by fall '23.
I'm thrilled for him; am a temporary, 1 year Vols fan; and am loving watching him reach his potential.
Also, fuck Justin Fuente and Brad Cornelsen. Everyday, to infinity and beyond, fuck those two motherfuckers.
