On a fan run podcast "Tales from the Transfer Portal", earlier this week, they had on Kaleb Smith as a guest. Kaleb indicated that Pry "low-key loves to throw shade on the old staff any chances he gets"....first few minutes of that Roth interview seemed to confirm that, lol

This right here ^.

If I lived within maybe a 2 hour drive of Blacksburg, I'd get season tickets this for sure. But I live 6.5 hours away, so I am not going to be investing that kind of time + money in something that is likely to still cause a lot of heartburn and anger this year, lol

Rather than comparing our ticket sales to teams like OSU and UCF, you should be looking more at teams that have been barely .500 for the past 4 years

My bet: a dying ACC refuses to see the writing on the wall, adds UCF, App St, Coastal Carolina and ECU. Commish Phillips pats himself on the back, declares the ACC a super-conference on par with the SEC and B1G, and as punishment for our wanting to jump ship, sticks us with an annual game against ECU in perpetuity.

Sweet dreams

So if I'm reading it correctly, basically, we're going to end up left out in the cold in a more and more irrelevant ACC because of that horrible GoR

But as others have said, I believe the decision is 100% going to be what ESPN and Fox want, and they'll find ways to make whatever that is work

The guy is the founder and editor in chief of "Swim Swam News" with just under 6k followers...so maybe take it with a grain of salt - personally, I think he is just looking for clicks

Edit:

Edit Again:

Pretty encouraging

Stevens, check.
Woodson, check.
Johnson, check.

Now boarding, Kamren Robinson, please step up to the podium

Edit: Robinson's flight home has been canceled

Instead of the seeming inevitable push towards two 20 team mega-conferences, I would like to see just a new subdivision of Div 1 football.

Have FBS, I-A, and include Bama, LSU, OSU, Clemson, etc...the perennial top 10 squads, with their own Natty that they all vie for

revamped FCS, or I-AA the rest of us that are getting left in the dust by the elites, and with the landscape of today's college football, no real way to claw back into the picture

and a new subdivision for I-AAA, the current FCS teams.

All would be welcome to schedule each other for OOC play, all would have their own natty's.

I guess the money just isn't there, but I think it would create a lot of new interest if teams of the non-elites had an equal playing field amongst each other and let them guys branch off
