I think you are forgetting just how bad things were. Look at this quote from Pry. Not trying to harp on the past, this is a direct and recent quote from Pry that skips the coach talk and sheds a little bit of light on what kind of shape we were in when he came to town
This is frustrating, but I'm glad Pry actually sees value in recruiting the state. It's not rocket science - no need to rethink basic strategies: hammer the 6 hour radius, take a few shots in NJ, PA, GA, FL, OH. pic.twitter.com/mPNUrWb6qa— Pete B. (@petebvt) May 8, 2022
Anyone who does not answer Grant Noel is wrong. Legend.

The 757 is where I'm from, and where I was when I created the handle. Now in the 252 with the Outer Banks Homebrewers
Would love to take it commercial at some point tho
Mitchell to Detroit means more college wins for him than NFL wins if he stays there
Share my brew?

Kidding, my homebrew club helps, we meet once a month, so I typically try to fill a growler for a meeting
Lately I've been trying to scale back my beer consumption, at the same time, it seems I have been ramping up my beer production....I'll find equilibrium at some point

CMY has obviously lost the locker room
The only benefit I can see of VT playing at ODU, is that I might get to see VT play and only drive an hour and a half to do so

By the sounds of it, with the new regime, we're still in the hunt for Braylon Johnson (son of Loren Johnson) 3 star safety from Highland Springs

Also, from his quote in this, for those who say one-off losses to programs like ODU and Liberty don't hurt recruiting, it seems this recruit has a different outlook.
"Coming from a recruiting standpoint, it's a big difference," Braylon said. "I don't know what the old staff was doing. That's not a knock, but Coach Fuente, I don't think he knew what he was doing in Virginia. He's a Midwest guy. That was my first offer. They kind of want me to really start the class. They're not pressing, but they've pushed it. If I commit now and they lose to ODU, how does that look on me? I don't want to be the guy who commits three and four times. I want to stick with a school, so my process has slowed down."
"Y'all really thought you were rid of me"

Caught Sonic 2 with the kid the other day. Not terrible.
Been watching Manifest on Netflix...the story hooked me in, but the acting is awful. Coulda really been a dope show with some decent acting.
As long as he doesn't morph into a caveman, I'm cool with that
Not to mention he didn't start playing hoops until like late middle school/into high school
*almost*

No schadenfreude intended, or anything towards the former staff. Davis was a commit to VT that had a lot of hype and excitement around him, even tho he never made it here, thought others might be curious as to his whereabouts ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
If people read that otherwise, maybe they still have some kind of feelings lurking deep below
That was the 4th and Logan game, correct?

Figured it was a matter of time with Alleyne, wish them both luck wherever they land!

I think the #1 pressing question needs to be: "Will you be back in the O&M next year???"
Edit: #2 question, after the butts for Mutts gif question

No. Maybe he told Franklin in parting that he wouldn't actively target this class out of respect for Franklin and for his former players at PSU, and I'd actually respect for that. But for future years, if a coach would be unwilling to recruit against his former boss, then they have no business being a HC
