I gotta admit, that hammer is pretty damn cool.
I would be at this game if my damn water heater hadn't crapped out on me. To hell with Murphy and his law.
I'll be watching today to see if Motley can keep his momentum from Furman and carry it over, or if he reverts to a deer in the headlights against a P5 defense. (Admittedly, one of the not so good P5 defenses.)
On D, it's all about mike. Looking to see if Tiny Tim can anchor the spot, or if the fate of this D rests in the hands of a true freshman.
Also eager to see if BLT lines up at TE today. I pity the linebacker charged with bringing him down.
With the new PAT rules in the NFL, I expect to see a lot of these wonky scores.
Two TDs, with the PAT missed on one, and four FGs.
f the offense can't put up at least an average output, sound the alarm on our odds until Brewer returns.
Just for the sake of a baseline, for those wondering:
Total Offense: 451.5 ypg
Scoring Offense: 33 ppg
Yards/Play: 6.4
Since I'd say Purdue is a pretty good median between Ohio State and Furman, I'd say those numbers probably reflect what we should reasonably expect to put up vs the Broilermakers.
Yeah, at least Stiney got the ill-advised deep ball out of the way on first down.
Bring in Lawson or Durkin in the wildcat for QB draws. Motley's runs should be the last option on a package play.
Lefty to Motley: "Do X, and if X isn't there, do Y, and if Y isn't there, do Z, and if Z isn't there, get what you can with your legs."
Hasn't it been more than a half decade? Stiney was never good at RB screens.
Clicked link expecting Metallica-branded gardening equipment.
I LOLed.
Something in the same vein. This blew my mind when I stumbled across it on Reddit.
Yeah that's where I thought we were. Put Saban in Blacksburg and we're easily top 15, routinely top 10, IMO. We have everything except a big whistle that's obsessive about recruiting.
Aren't we routinely in the top 25 recruiting classes? I thought 20-25 was our typical stomping grounds.
Go straight Peter Griffin.

And according to french's writeup, Purdue's DL is aggressive. Would like to see that exploited with some screens to Rogers, Trey and McMillian.
You know nothing, Darrell Hazell.
They reset the game clock to put that time back on right before the snap, I thought.
You're correct. Louisville taking the time out was the right call. But then they dodged a bullet on the bad snap, and failed to dodge another when the QB took a sack. It honestly looked like Petrino had never practiced a two minute drill.
Absolutely horrible play calling at the end to not roll the pocket so the QB can just toss it out of bounds if he's about to get sacked. And how the hell did Louisville only have one receiver deep in the game ending Hail Mary? Petrino feel apart worse than the Bluesmobile.
I don't think any decommits, at least none I can recall. Possible some on the fence recruits went elsewhere based on AMo's departure, but that's just conjecture. And Burden didn't flip any of his guys from ODU to VT.
If course he's on his last legs. Look how skinny they are.

Samuel's got some jets.
Welp. My hot water heater just crapped out on me.
Enjoy the game, guys.
What in the hell did Clemson just run?
Yes.
Just a hunch but have felt that way since the second the game was over. For the second year in a row, the Buckeyes seemed to have no answer for Brewer.
And your counterpoint is very valid. When did AMo leave for aTm? Was it before or after signing day?

Sex in a canoe.
