Not in that field, so can't help with specifics. But in engineering, most schools run job fairs every spring and fall semester. Have her check with the department and VT Career Services for upcoming fairs.

We typically hire summer interns the previous fall, from said fairs. We are more often looking for upcoming grads in the spring, although we hire a lot of former interns before that, so few offers made to cold interviews.

I found crackers that are primarily "parmesan"cheese. These did not have the starches in them and gave me the satisfying crunchy food I needed.
Calories were a bit high but kept me out of the complex sugars/starches that were driving my metabolism nuts.

"The ESPN matchup predictor gives the Hokies an 83.5% chance of victory."

Damn, I wish I had that level of confidence in my life. I hope they're right!

Close enough to try and make something work! I'm living on the other side of Raleigh at the moment, but my lease ends this spring anyways. That job seems like an ideal situation for me. I've got class the rest of the night starting soon, but I'll definitely put in an application tomorrow. Thanks for the information!

As I've posted here, my daughter is 1st year at VT Interior design. First semester went really well.
Probably not enough schooling yet to get an internship this summer but, I'll stir that pot anyway with expectations that nothing before the summer 18 months from now, would even be considered.

Any insights on how to discover internship opportunities would be appreciated. I've never been good with that sort of thing.
