*sigh*
Fine, I will be the Defensive Coordinator.
That's why I charge a premium too. Common Sense and chasing your tail are bad habits but ignored by hacker golfers and wanna be major college football programs. Business is good these days! But in terms of golf- I was being dead serious and not a smart ass- for example - 170 yard par 3 over water. You are trying to break 90- that is going to be hampered if you rinse this shot and card a 5... soooo what do you hit 170? 6 iron? cool. Do you hit your 5 iron rock solid most of the time? Yes? hit the 5, aim for the center of the green. You are inconsistent with the 5? OK can you hit a 4 hybrid solid a little teed up? Oh yeah thats my favorite shot... hit that- center of the green. 2 putt and lets get the fuck out of here. Orrrr- you can try to step on your 6 perfectly, which you never do and come up 10 yards short in the water, have to hit an akward 80 yard drop shot close or make 5 or worse. That is what I am talking about- not trying to be a smart ass. You are chasing a score- penalty shots and 4 putting blows said score up- quickly.
In fairness, it's a more complicated decision than calling time out.
So you're saying that we're screwed? 😂

Love it.
Fuck NC State hoops and all they stand for - fuck them. Glad to beat them. All they are is fucking transfers that never go to or went to class. Fucking AAU program in NC State Jerseys. Fuck Keats. VT will never go to a final four in mens hoops- ever. But Keats takes a shit team there with an obese 7 year center and wins 5 games in 5 days with a horseshoe up his ass to even get in the dance. My school is never that fucking random and lucky in ANY SPORT EVER. Fuck NC State hoops and that annoying ass Middlebrooks who has been in the ACC since Len Bias.
We got the Switch 2 reveal trailer before we announced our DC, c'mon son.... /sssss
Hi folks. I got some hard news yesterday - my company is going through a round of layoffs and my role is being eliminated and moved to a "global capability center" which, reading between the lines, sounds like they're shipping it overseas where engineers are cheaper to pay. They are giving me plenty of notice - I'll be retained until July 31st and will receive a severance package if I make it to that date. But, I'm back on the job hunt for the first time in 5 years. I live in Hillsborough, NC and would prefer not to relocate. The job I had was a fully remote job (which is part of why the company can afford to ship it overseas, I guess) so I have WFH experience and would be open to that or a hybrid model, so long as I don't have to move. I don't know if anyone on here is aware of any opportunities in and around the area but I know there are a few folks in North Carolina so I thought I'd at least put out some feelers. It's early yet - this news is still fresh and I have 6-9 months to figure things out.
Cheers and Go Hokies!
Be careful connecting those very plain and obvious dots lol. You'll be told that it's all baseless conjecture and assumptions, and that you should be patient and wait for something to be frustrated about.
I honestly still can't believe what I watched last night. Maybe the penultimate snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. We definitely have a steep talent disparity, but I have to give CMY, the staff and the players credit where it's due - they don't quit and they don't lack effort.
Seems without Bennett more of the shine has come off the loluva program and you just hate to see it.

...but more than that you just love to see it.
2 ways to break 90... no lost balls, no 3 putts. It's that simple. Keep the ball in play- not in the water or unplayable deep hazards and don't 3 putt. On a par 72 course, that alone is bogey golf realistically- right at 90. Now, if you par every par 3- hit the green, 2 putt (see above), you break 90. It is very realistic if you manage to do those 2 things.
Well since Banks is off the table officially now, have a feeling we are either a) circling back to Dex and will be a few days so he can see if he's officially out of consideration for the PSU job (sounds like they are going external), or b) Dex is still off the table as well and Pry is talking to options down the list. Very frustrating process.
IMO I don't think we are waiting on anyone still coaching at this point. This delay is likely due to the Banks decision and waiting around on what Dex is going to do. Just my gut feeling on it.

remember when we used to make fun of Mike London for his time management?
Those were better days...
Maybe it's Texans Bill Davis
It does add a lot but it's still w/in budget. My concern with a remote is physically having to fiddle with it and in June-Sept, I'm going to have a shade umbrella on the cart that I need to be under a lot. So I'm going to walk with the cart most of the time. My primary goal with the electric is to not have to push the cart on soggy ground or with the umbrella up in a breeze; and be able to walk with it hands-free while I take off my glove and get a drink...I'm constantly doing that in hot weather. I'll go thru 4-5 bottles of Gatorade when it's hot and I'll be cycling thru 3 or 4 gloves hanging under the umbrella. The remote is in play because I'm afraid I'll find a really good use for it that I haven't considered.
MGI Zip X3 is looking tempting right now...Moto M1 as well
update: M1 on order
What's his middle name?
No idea - but we're at the point where we are deciphering message board posts to see if people's initials are included in the post. This guy has a one-off connection to Pry in that he coached in the same conference as Pry for one season, so I thought I'd bring him up - it's as much evidence as we ever had that it was Tim Banks lol.
Is he a Pry scheme guy? Does he run the gap fit scheme?
UVA will somehow turn it around and get the double bye though- they always have the double bye.
Going with the assumption that the new DC is still coaching, whether in the NFL or CFP...anyone mentioned Bill Davis? Don't know what his current salary with Houston is
Bill Davis - LB Coach - Houston Texans. Long NFL coaching career, various positions, including DC. Brief stint as LB Coach at Ohio State from 2017-2018, while Pry was at PSU.
What defensive position coaches are we firing at this point?
Would have to double check exact specs of mine later but it's one of the stock Mizuno t24's. Got it last spring to finally replace my 13 year old ping wedge

Yeah I mean, come on. If we aren't supposed to discuss/speculate and wait on primary sources, going to be a quiet board until the VT news release comes out. There's also some additional detail behind paywalls on the other sites that I won't share. Just my best guess on what we are doing at this point given the timing.
