I still won't believe the hype until we beat UNC and beat them convincingly. We've got a good thing going, but I want a win against an opponent that isn't in the FCS, the worst team in the ACC, or ECU, who we should dominate every year since they've only been ranked in the top 25 for like 4 weeks after the 2008 season.
4 games in, I can't yet say that this team is better than the 2010 Hokies.
Especially since our first two games that year were cancelled.

Imagine a season where your schedule would have ND/Louisville/Clemson/Texas on it, then have to face FSU in conference championship game? that would look just as good or better than Auburn/TaM/UT/Georgia then Florida in the championship.

I've definitely heard the number 50k students thrown around. I heard it about a year ago from an engineering department head. He said a lot of the focus is increasing all of our engineering departments especially.

It's good to keep in mind that you can only run so many plays in a game. As basic as they might currently be, if the plays are getting it done (50+ ppg), then that's really all we should care about. Using the opposite mentality would lead you down the Lefty path...

Brett. Grew up in Norfolk, VA. Got hooked on the hokies in 2006 as a high school sophomore one day watching the hokies take on GT while my little brother, in 8th grade at the time, gushed about how bad he wanted to go to tech one day.
I like trying beer I've never had, anything that has to do with the beach, riding roller coasters, and watching football all day long with as many friends as possible. It always makes games more entertaining.

AND no West Virginia cousins to deal with. VT/ND/LU is a 3 headed beast that would make the north more than accomplished and a good counterpart to the FSU/Clem/Texas (and possibly OU) south.
