The original telling came from an Auburn fan on a discussion board but quickly became legend.
Michigan State is not the team they were last year, not even close, and LSU was obviously overrated at 5 entering the season, which was plain to see before the first snap of the first game (and who had NO offense). Thus far, Wisconsin has played two teams that, at their best, will be ranked in the 20 or lower range by mid year, and they've still not hit the meat of their schedule (OSU, Mich, Neb), where I think they'll go 1-2 or 0-3.
Wisconsin's schedule looked great on paper preseason, but by time they play the Cornhuskers on Oct 29, it'll come back to earth. They're, at the moment, the third best team in the Big Ten, and I think they'll finish fifth or sixth. This is what an average team with a deceptive schedule looks like.
Side note, Wisconsin has never developed a quality QB from scratch and I don't think that Hornibrook is going to be the one to change that. Not because of him, but because of them.
Nobody mentioned Bucky blocked 2 guys as well, one in front of Evans and one behind him.

Yea who cares that I drive from South Carolina, pay about 750 dollars in total for each game I go to, donate money to get parking pass and tickets to enjoy watching the game. I should be happy that others get to do things that take away from the game because it gives them something to do when they get bored. The game is there to watch, and I know this is weird, the game.

I'm pretty sure he was talking about the blocker not Stroman, because of what happened to Gaines. I could be wrong, but I don't believe there's any crow for him to eat.

My guess is that the 25 jersey thing stops after all the players who played / were recruited by the old regime graduate. It's not special after those guys are done. Did you see Stroman point to his chest after he ran back the kick? It's because he loved his old coach. In 5 years, the kids won't have the same reverence for it.
Initially I was, some of it had to do with him coming from Memphis. I didn't realize how much he did for that program, in the end I'm happy.
Hell, LSU was ranked #5 just a few weeks ago.
Get back to me at Halloween and we'll see where Wisconsin ranks.
